Bleasdale is one of four Lantern and Larks sites nestled in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, within easy reach of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, this is the perfect place for a family break. Sit back and relax in one of five luxury safari tents, fully equipped with a cosy wood burning stove, hot running water and comfortable bedrooms. Parties of six or more can book multiple tents and enjoy a group break.

We had a fabulous time in Curlew. The tent is spacious yet cosy and very comfortable with everything you could need provided. Rachel was really friendly and helpful with check in, thank you! The location was lovely and peaceful for a relaxing family weekend. We’ll definitely return!

Absolutely loved our stay. Just a couple of small things; salt and pepper mills were empty, and there was dust on the seats of the dining chairs. Exploring the surrounding area with the dogs was a real treat; fields of sheep with lambs at foot, waterfalls, stunning vistas, and beautiful stone farmhouses. The local farm shop sells organic local food - highly recommend the sausages. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of blankets. The lamps provided all the light we needed after sundown, and playing scrabble by lamplight was a highlight. Very well-equipped kitchen and plenty of storage space for clothing. Lovely soft towels and hot shower. Would love to return in the summer months for longer.

We had a wonderful weekend glamping in Bleasdale. This is an amazing site with everything that you need. The area was beautiful and the tents were amazing. We are used to camping in our own tent so this felt luxurious! I would highley recommend this to anyone! It was expensive for us but we do hope to save up and go again at some point.
