My family and I live on site and would like to welcome you to Burnbrae.
We arranged a long stay at Mungo's Well Cottage and from our first contact with the owner, Yvette, everything went superbly well. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and during our stay Yvette was very helpful with information about the area, places to go and see and where to find things that we needed.
The Cottage itself was so comfortable that often we just wanted to stay there and not go out. It is very peaceful and the view from the Conservatory was wonderful. We like to cook and in the kitchen, every utensil we could need was there, just like at home.

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend staying in Thairn cottage. Yvette was lighting the stove when we arrived and had left fresh scones which were welcome after our journey. We found the cottage very well equipped and good information was available about local facilities, walks and places to visit.

The light is always good in there...perfect for stitching, reading or sketching. Comfy beds, a log fire and now, excellent wifi. We will be there a...more
