All on the ground floor.
Open plan living space: With beams and French doors leading to gravelled area.
Living area: With Freeview TV, DVD player and CD player.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge.
Bedroom 1: With four poster double bed with French doors leading to courtyard, and en-suite with shower over bath, and toilet.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Shower room: With shower cubicle and toilet.

Rose Cottage is beautifully decorated, one instantly feels 'at home'. Fully fitted kitchen and two great bathrooms - one with a shower and one with a bath. The area was very quiet and the beds very comfortable.

We stayed in Rose Cottage for 2 nights and it was perfect for what we needed. Everything was as expected and the location was great with a pub in walking distance. I would highly recommended the accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely delightful cottages.
Furnished beautifully and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay.
Very impressed with the cleanliness also after having the pleasure of staying in two of the cottages.

We stayed at Rose cottage for a short break with our two sons (11 & 13). The cottage was very clean with pretty much all we needed for a relaxing stay. The description was clear as were the information and directions provided for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was on hand that we could have wanted regarding equipment, the cottage was perfect for my partner who has sight and mobility impairment. The wheelchair was however difficult to move across the shingle but he did manage using his walking frame so not a disaster. The area is a perfect place to explore Devon with countryside and coast easily reached. The cottage is also lovely to spend time at with a great patio area for relaxing in. Overall a great choice.

Second time staying at Rose Cottage, my family and I love it. The place is clean and very well cared for which makes the stay all the more relaxing. The location is great, it's tucked away in a nice quite area with a small play park across the road and a nice pub a short walk away. Getting to the seafront is only a 10 minute drive so you're close enough to enjoy it but far away enough for peace and quiet in the evening. Great place to stay and I highly recommend it!

We really loved staying here...but would help to save water if the plug in the bath was changed, as it did not retain the water.
The mattress and duvet were adequate, but could do with being upgraded for a more comfortable stay.
The location was so pretty, and it was clearly developed with love and care.

Excellent premises. Good standard. Very clean.
Only “issue” was the Dolce Gusto coffee machine would not work. Had to revert to instant, but hey Ho.
Would not hesitate in returning. Lovely old village. Very good food at local pub.

We were only here for few days but we loved it. The views from journey to Paignton was breathtaking. Lovely quiet and friendly place. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go.

Rose cottage is smart and welcoming. It is clean with lovely furniture and there wasn't anything that we wanted that wasn't there. Tina is lovely and very approachable although we only needed to pass the time of day with her. We used local buses to get into Paignton, Torquay and Babacombe so the cottage is excellently situated for this.

We go to Devon a few times a year and have stayed in several places. This was the best though. So peaceful and perfect for us with a young baby. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely quiet location with beautiful scenery.

We arrived late in the evening for our short break at Rose cottage, the cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming, with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and 2 bathrooms were lovely. The kitchen was well equipped too. We would love to come back for a longer stay next time.

We stayed in Rose Cottage for a weekend with our 2 young children and it was a perfect break. The cottages have recently been refurbished to a high standard, and are lovely. The setting and village are both picturesque (we'd recommend the Church House Inn for a meal). To top it all, the owners are very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. We'd definitely recommend Old Mill Cottages.

Rose Cottage is one of three in a quiet complex in the beautiful village of Marldon just outside Paignton. The cottage is comfortable and well appointed with good accomodation. The new owners were delightful and could not have been more helpful. The location is great for exploring Devon from the south coast resorts to Dartmoor and beyond. The Church House Inn, a short walk from the cottage serves delicious food. Thoroughly recommended.
