Cricket Cottage is a stunning 17th century holiday home located in the breath-taking village of Ebrington, near Chipping Campden. Boasting a spacious living areas, a cosy wood burning stove and exposed oak beams, this tastefully decorated period home has an enchanting garden at the rear and is the perfect base for a relaxing break in the North Cotswolds.

The cottage was perfect and had everything we needed. It was very tastefully decorated and was in a great location. The owner was very helpful and responsive with my requests prior to staying. I would definitely return.

I have tried very hard to think of something negative........and cannot. The cottage is delightful, home furnishings and knickknacks help towards the homely feel, the whole place was spotless and the garden kept well. Everything you need for your stay is included even down to a torch by the door. We ate in the Ebrington Arms (be warned not open Monday and Tuesday) Da Luige Bistro and the Noel Arms and would recommend them all.

Cricket Cottage is a warm, cosy and immaculately presented cottage in the small village of Ebrington, just outside of Chipping Campden. The cottage facilities are excellent including a well appointed kitchen with ample good quality crockery, cookware and glassware and a separate dining room with seating for 6. There is parking on the road right outside for two cars.
The cosy living room with plump cushions and soft sofas features a wood burning stove and supply of logs and kindling. There is also a full WC/shower room on the ground floor, as well as useful boot room with washing machine.
The cottage was warm on arrival and there was plentiful hot water from the powerful showers.
Upstairs the 3 double bedrooms feature super-soft bedlinen and throws with a good amount of storage and hanging space. Another full WC/shower room and further separate cloakroom are also upstairs. The decor throughout is lovely.
The nearby Ebrington Arms is excellent and there are some lovely walks from the cottage in the surrounding countryside.
We also visited Chipping Campden, Broadway and Bourton on the Water, all an easy drive.
The perfect cottage for a weekend getaway or longer stay. We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Cricket Cottage, we were celebrating two birthdays and it was the perfect place for that and we all enjoyed the lovely relaxing space. Ebrington is a lovely quiet village and the walks in the area are just so beautiful. We ended our walks by collapsing in the local pub for a well earned G&T, but couldn’t wait to head back to the cottage to light the log burner and chill. We used the kitchen for a couple of meals and this was well equipped with everything we needed, we also eat in the local pub one evening. Sharon was a super host and made it easy to contact her with any questions. Would not hesitate to recommend this cottage and I am sure that in the summer months, the garden will be a lovely spot to chill. We hope to return again.

We had a great stay at the Cricket Cottage with our friends. Lovely cottage in a great location . Ebrington is a great spot for walks with a fantastic pub nearby - for drinks and food.

The cottage is extremely well laid out and decorated with plenty of kitchen equipment. It was like staying in someone’s home.

Cricket Cottage was just lovely!
The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout to a high standard and on arrival just offered a wow moment. The kitchen is well equipped if you like to cook (my husband does) with a lovely dining room adjacent to the kitchen. The beds were cosy (we had snow) and extremely comfortable with two shower rooms and an additional toilet. The stairs are step, but no more than you would expect in a cottage of this age. It's an easy walk to the Ebrington Arms, a friendly local with a good menu and if you enjoy walking there is an easy, across field footpath, into Chipping Campden. It was also good to receive a welcome email from Sharon, with a few key reminders just prior to our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay...as did the dogs...and we hope to be back.

We spent 4 nights at Cricket Cottage in December.

It was the perfect wintery Cotswolds stay for me, my partner and our dog. Great location with some excellent local walks and amenities. Sharon was a great host - and we'd definitely be keen to stay again.

Lovely cottage, very well maintained in a great location, nice back garden for our pooch, loads of walking from the door and a good pub 2 minutes away.. what else do you want! Thanks and hopefully be back..

Cricket cottage is a tastefully furnished,charming and comfortable cottage in a typical rural Cotswold village called Ebrington.Very close to Chipping Campden and within easy reach of all other well known Cotswold villages.
The Log burner was cosy in the cold evenings and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in.
There is a shower room and toilet downstairs for those who can not make the stairs frequently this was a benefit to my elderley parents.The dog leg Stairs however can be safely navigated as there are two rails to assist but maybe the owners could consider a small handle too on the right of the staircase entrance as I felt that would have helped my mum who has mobility problems.
StayCotswold booking and holiday details were easy to follow and I was given personal contact details to communicate any worries or requests.
In fact StayCotswolds facilitated an early check in for us so we could watch The Queens Funeral
All in all a great service and holiday.
