The Oat Barn is a wonderful holiday home which boasts beautiful interiors, spacious open-plan living areas and a superb garden, surrounded by the spectacular countryside and complete with a hot tub. Located in Little Coxwell, this fabulous property is perfect for large family holidays and get togethers with friends or for that business get away.

The Oat Barn was well above our expectations. From the garden to the property everything was of the highest quality. All our requests were met and the facilities easily met the needs of our large family with babies and children under 5.
A fabulous experience.

An extended family gathering had a superb long weekend at the Oat Barn. We were 9 adults and 3 young children (plus a dog). The first thing that strikes you on arrival is the sheer scale of the main room - it is hugely impressive. The conversion is clearly new, so everything is in top notch. But beyond the quality of the build, the hosts have thought things through really well to give a relaxing, hassle-free stay. The bedrooms are a little snug but there are loads of sleeping arrangement options. Kids loved the secure garden, plus the shared trampoline.

Location is good. We visited Cotswold Wildlife park (excellent), Millets Farm (again, excellent) and walked to the White Horse (10 min drive, easy access). Nearby Waitrose and Tesco.

It is at the upper end of what I'd be willing to pay for a long weekend, but I do think it's worth it.

We stayed for our nana’s 85th birthday. Great space, lovely rooms and well decorated. Very comfortable. Amenities well thought out. Hot tub was lovely.

Minor points - no full length mirrors or mirrors in rooms which made getting ready a bit difficult. Heating in main room could not be controlled by ourselves (had to call Owners if needed changing). We ended up not doing this but had to keep windows/doors open at times.

Our family Christmas gathering of 11 had a lovely stay at the Oat Barn. We were welcomed with home-baked goodies, plenty of firewood and even a full-size and decorated Christmas tree. We walked to a charming pub for dinner and a special Christmas service in the local village. The home is fully stocked for cooking, and each room is comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed some days out in the Cotswolds and sitting round the fire playing games in the evenings. I highly recommend the Oat Barn for a family vacation.

We stayed here for my 40th with 12 friends. All the finishing touches from having two ovens, two dishwashers, the bedding and the fire place made it perfect for a large group. It was a bit pricy but we didn’t mind paying more for a special occasion and it was definitely worth it.

Oat barn is a a fantastic barn for larger groups.

We were staying as a group of 14 and we all had the most comfortable beds and bedding. Some of the rooms were small but perfectly formed. 3 of the 7 bedrooms have en-suites with a further 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo.

There’s plenty of space in the kitchen/utility for food and drinks.

The 2 dishwashers came in handy for our group!

The open plan layout downstairs worked beautifully and is designed to perfection. Lots of seating for everyone indoors and outdoors. The hot tub and trampoline are great for abit of entertainment as well as the outdoor games room.

The barn is clean and had all the amenities we required. The communication with the owners was very efficient and helpful.

Abi and Tim are lovely and have created something special. Many thanks for making our stay memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

The photographs of this property will never give it the true justice. To the interior design to just the layout of home, both Abi and Timothy have created a wonderful experience inside and out within the surrounding grounds of the property. The location is perfect, having amenities only 5 minutes down the road, which gives you the feel of not being out in the countryside of Oxfordshire but once back in the residents a peaceful, tranquil stay. Most definitely a place I’ll experience again but unfortunately already booked out for Christmas. Just great for all ages, thank you once again.
