The pros: easy parking, comfortable beds, lots of accessories to help you get started. Very nice if you are looking for a rural location. The views are beautiful and we were greeted with numerous rainbows. All the rooms are also very sizeable so more than enough to feel comfortable.

Cons: Location is off the beaten path a little. Could be more comfortable overall certainly the living room. The internet was not so great throughout the house, little dirty in areas throughout the home. A neighbouring cat of the owners wanted in all the time for which I’m allergic. You always had to watch for it when pulling out.

The owners live next door and were keeping an eye on us as we packed up for the day, went into the city and we were to return. The owner thought we left, went through the home while we were still renting it and didn’t ask us first.

Overall, I would not go back, but that is because I’d prefer something different.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Kitchen Garden Cottage situated in a quiet village in the northern Cotswolds but giving access to a variety of interesting National Trust properties and pretty villages. On our arrival we were greeted with the best welcome pack of food etc that we have ever experienced and the hosts who live close were helpful and available. It is perhaps a little unfortunate that the garden is small although there is ample parking room.

Very pretty cottage in gorgeous location. Welcome pack was a nice touch.
Really enjoyed the lemon drizzle cake provided by owner.
We had several great days out, e.g. Whichford Pottery and Straw Kitchen where the food was fab. Also went to Kiftsgate Gardens which was beautiful.

Lovely cottage in a pretty quiet location fairly close to many lovely villages and towns. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. The food and wine awaiting us at the cottage was much appreciated as was the fresh eggs from the owners own hens

We had such a lovely welcome in the form of a home baked drizzle cake and wine! Very picturesque cottage but only 10 mins away from Moreton in the Marsh. We both felt very relaxed after staying a week.

The cottage was lovely and clean, and also really cosy and welcoming with great views and such a peaceful location. Everything was perfect inside, and the cottage was in a great location for walks and visiting nearby villages. Perfect!

What a hidden gem! The Kitchen Garden Cottage was the perfect little getaway for us. We were welcomed with a delicious lemon cake which was a lovely touch. The cottage itself is very comfortable and makes you feel at home. Beautiful scenery around! We highly recommend a stay here.

We had the best time staying here for 4 nights in November! We fell in love with the cottage and the location - and the yummy lemon drizzle cake that the lovely owners made for us! We couldn’t fault it all and didn’t want to leave - we will be back - thank you

Kitchen Garden Cottage is just sublime. The pictures look good but they don’t convey the beauty and warmth you feel as you walk in.
The owners are on hand if you need anything but you don’t in any way feel watched or over looked. They are a lovely family who have created an absolute jewel.
It’s perfectly located for walks or villages to head out to - if you want to leave the fireside that is! It’s also perfectly equipped to shut the door when you arrive and not open it again until it’s sadly time to leave.
The little touches far exceed expectations and we couldn’t leave a review without mentioning the lemon drizzle cake - I mean you should sell it!!
Had the best weekend, it was truly magical, thank you

Beautiful setting. Welcome hamper was lovely - cake, wine, flowers, tea, coffee, milk. Use of tennis court was excellent for our children. Cottage was comfortable. Just needed instruction manual for gadgets - coffee machine!

The cottage is 'quintessentially Coldswolds' made from beautiful stone with an interior which is full of character. The cottage was spotlessly clean and felt very welcoming. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage is situated in a peaceful hamlet - an ideal location for visiting the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. The layout and design were superb. Welcome hamper was delicious too. The quietest setting we have ever experienced in the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend and we are planning to go back in 2021 already!

What a lovely cottage. We arrived a few minutes early so had a stroll around the village, nothing much there, a few houses and a church. The cottage was clean and welcoming. The owners, who live close by, had left a bottle of wine, a homemade lemon drizzle cake, eggs, milk, coffee, tea, all very welcomed. The beds are extremely comfortable, which is a good thing. The bathrooms are large and with beautiful white fluffy towels., and very hot water. After speaking to the owners they said nearby Shipston would be a good place to eat out, which proved to be the case. Look forward to when we can revisit this beautiful place.

Situated by the village church and the owner's large rose-fronted Cotswolds'-stone house, this is a wonderful place to base yourself for a garden-visiting or touring holiday.
It's close to Moreton-in-Marsh, which is well equipped for shopping and drinking in the unique Cotswold atmosphere, and we struck out in a number of different directions to enjoy the sights locally.
The kitchen had the best collection of kitchen knives we've found in a holiday cottage, and a wonderful library of books to browse. Generally the cottage inside was well-equipped, well furnished and clean.

This is a stunning cottage with beautiful features such as wooden beams and a wood panelled wall upstairs but also totally contemporary which we loved.

It's 5 mins drive from Moreton where there are local facilities.

We loved staying here - only gripe is that the upstairs shower had virtually no pressure so we had to all use the downstairs walk- in shower which was an amazing shower, spacious with great pressure but a pain that it was downstairs.

Also would've been nice to have better seating in the living room- the one big couch didn't really fit all 4 of us and was v squishy and not v comfortable.

But the cottage was extremely clean and had cleaning products, soaps etc and the fluffiest towels. The owners next door were very hospitable and helpful.

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this beautiful charming cottage. It was lovely to be away after lockdown, the cottage is a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. We have a 1 year old daughter and it was a very safe place for her to play on the ground floor. We enjoyed relaxing by the stove (although not what we expected in May, British weather!) and exploring the nearby towns.

Everything you need for Cotswolds bliss - fresh eggs, fluffy towels, rolltop bath and log fire. From the homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting on the table and a pre-prepared fire in the fireplace, we were warmly welcomed. The decor and furnishings are well-considered and high quality, and we particularly appreciated the homely touches including stacks of coffee-table books. Lovely stay and hard to leave.
