The Garden Flat is a spacious two bedroom period apartment that sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and has the benefit of free parking. All rooms are on one level being the ground floor of a grand Georgian villa on the outskirts of Charmouth in West Dorset with easy access to the Jurassic Coast and beach at Charmouth and nearby Lyme Regis.

A most enjoyable stay in Dorset in a beautifully kept property, can't wait to go back again.
The accommodation was first class and great value for money; highly recommended.

The flat was very spacious and well equipped, just a couple of pointers,no plug socket near a mirror to facilitate hair blow dry,if children are staying in flat above it can be very noisy as all hard floors !
The flat was next to a very busy road so at times you could hear the traffic !

Very nice Xmas pad. My family enjoyed hold there and I liked the spaciousness. Nice kitchen but pans need an upgrade

A lovely 3 day stay in The Garden Flat. All mod cons provided, warm, spacious and modern. Too far from the village to walk but a quick drive to Charmouth, Lyme Regis and other coastal towns.

Clean and Comfortable accommodation.
We had a relaxing break exploring nearby coast and countryside.
Lyme Regis Accommodation were very helpful during our stay.

Well appointed beautifully updated furnishings. Very spacious.
Be aware that there is a flight of steps to climb to get into the flat.... Long and quite steep. OK if you are able bodied, not good otherwise.

We chose the flat because of needing everything on one level for my mum who isn’t great at walking anymore.
The flat was very comfortable and spacious.
A way of getting up to the flat without stairs would be great… a ramp… or winding path?
Will be back if mum can still manage with help the stairs.

A beautifully kept apartment in a beautiful building in a beautiful part of the country. Slightly close to a main road but only a small issue with an otherwise perfect and well priced. Would stay again for sure.

A very spacious and comfortable flat, however it would have been nice to have had some chests of drawers in the bedrooms to put our clothes away. One other downside, the bedroom with the single beds in needs bedside lights. The only way to put the lights out is by getting out of bed to switch off at the door. Lots of equipment in the kitchen but no fish slice so fried eggs were impossible to cook as no way off getting them out of the frying pan. Despite the above we were very warm and comfortable.

Enjoyed our short stay. Lovely flat. Nice touch with the complimentary baskets of biscuits, muesli & tea bags.
Everything was very clean & in good order. Would have benefitted from a microwave.
There should really be a sign on the gateway pointing the way (we drove past it and got stuck down the lane)
And also, would be helpful to have a plaque or something at the steps saying which dwelling was the Garden Flat. We nearly went next door.
Some road noise. I would've preferred plusher mattresses if we'd have been staying longer.
But overall, its a beautiful place with very helpful kind hosts and we would recommend it to anyone looking to stay near Lyme Regis or West Bay

Very nicely restored apartment and well equipped and nicely furnished. We quickly felt at home. A good place for relaxation, as well as an excellent base for exploring the coast and the countryside inland. Don’t miss the church in Whitchurch Canonicorum (great history) and Cony’s Castle, especially in Spring with bluebells and wonderful views.

We had a lovely stay in this fully equipped cosy flat. Loads of space, cosy furnishing, modern, clean decor.

Location not ideal to walk from into town as by a main road but suited us perfectly.
