Teal House is a 4 bedroom period property that sleeps 8 and is perfectly located in Old Lyme close to shops and only a few minutes level walk to the beach in Lyme Regis.

A reasonably kitted out house with a garden that takes dogs and is a short pretty flat walk to the sea - that’s all great! But being quite low it has a bit of a damp ish smell, there was a snail trail in the kitchen and there was an issue with something on the carpet in one of the rooms. Having said that, the convenient location made up for the minor gripes and we’d go again. Children would need watching going up to the garden though (which had good outside furniture).

The house had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. It was comfortable and well equipped. The garden was a great space to sit out in with our dog. The location was excellent with lots of places to eat and drink nearby and a short stroll to the sea.

A really gorgeous, quirky house. Super central [almost next door to the dinosaur museum] and a short stroll to the sea.
The house had lovely, comfy beds and everything you need for an easy, family stay. It is really close to a brilliant cafe for breakfast and picnic supplies [the Town mill]
Will definitely come again :)

Overall the house was comfortable and a good place to stay. The garden in particular was lovely, a real sun trap and room for children to play.It was very close to lots of restaurants and near the sea.
The house has no parking and unloading was difficult as the road is very narrow. The stairs are narrow and not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Pleasant house with comfortable beds. We were aged from 7 months to 70 years and had a lovely stay. The best thing about it was flat walking for prams and the elderly. Restairants seafront and micro brewery very close. Toilets on every level the outside ground floor one was clean but could do with a lick of paint. Hghly recommend. TEAL HOUSE

Our stay over the Christmas week at Teal House was amazing. We absolutely loved the house and the location. Whilst it's not on the sea front nor on the high street, it is probably the better for it. Everything you may need is within a few minutes walk.

We were a party of 8, with family calling in on a daily basis and whilst the upstairs accommodation is very generous, the ground floor is laid out so that the dining room and lounge can flow without feeling too cramped. As much as I dislike L-shaped sofas, it may well be the solution in the sitting room, rather than the 2-seater and a chair. But it worked for us well enough.

We would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely 5 days in Teal House. The property is very comfortable and very well stocked with everything you might need - except when we did our washing, some airers would have been very useful to hang our clothes on to dry.

We had a lovely time, we took the dog and the garden was nice, house nice and fitted the bill for all of us.
Nicely decorated and everything you could need was there - you can't pick a better location and the tapas at the Mill was fabulous, breakfast across the road literally walking distance and shops so central. House was very pleasant stay felt like home from home. The bath on the first floor only has a hand shower on the bath (just for info) but a full shower is on the second floor and there are two loos and one outside which was great too. We would definitely use again. You can drop your bits off by the house and then park the car as not possible to park at location but it was minutes away and not a chore at all.

We all had a wonderful time at Teal House.
2 minutes from the beach. A really cosy cottage with all mod cons.
Mark and Mel are very helpful and welcoming. I would love to come again and will recommend the cottage to friends.

We had a fantastic stay at Teal House. A beautiful property in the most wonderful location, close to the beach and the shops.
Our only thoughts on room for improvement are to have enough sofa space for 8 people in the lounge. It's a lovely lounge but we couldn't all 8 of us sit on a sofas or arm chairs at the same time. But the dining area was perfect for 8 people. Another little comment would be that the bunk beds - and the double bed in the front bedroom - were very squeaky, making a noise each time anyone made the slightest movement.

We would certainly come back and stay again. A beautiful house, decorated with lovely paintings and pictures on the wall and nice furnishing. Plenty of hot water and very warm and cosy. We had everything we needed for our stay, thank you!

What a perfect location for exploring Lyme Regis. Beautifully presented cottage with a wonderful sheltered, sunny garden and just a short walk from the harbour and beach. A great introduction to this part of the Dorset coast; would have loved to stay longer! Highly recommend a stay here.

We are a family of 4 and stayed for a week at Teal House with our dog. It had everything we needed, and it was extremely close to a number of pubs and restaurants, the beach and other amenities such as a Fossil Museum and fantastic bakery. We parked the car on the Saturday we arrived and didn't use it again until we left (we bought the car park permit). The owner was quick to respond to any queries. We would visit again!

The house is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you need and more for cooking/cleaning, even a cook book which was a great idea.
Nice dining area and cosy living room.
All bedrooms and bathroom/shower room were lovely and lots of space.
The location was perfect, right near a fish and chip shop, bakery, brewery and little shops and only a few minutes walk to the main shops/restaurants and beach front.
We also found a really nice play park nearby too to take our little boy too.
We would definitely return.
