The cottage is lovely. Very comfortable and homely. Comfortable bed and living room- and great outdoor space. Easy enough to cook meals in the kitchen area too. The rooms are beautifully decorated and it is in a great location to explore the fantastic surrounding areas. Barnsley village itself is goregeous and there is a nice pub a 2-3 minute walk away. Check in and check out were very easy and Karen left us a lovely welcome pack for when we arrived. However the cottage is located on a busy road and the windows are all very thin.
