Overlooking the beach and with terrific views across to the Isle of Wight, this two bedroom, third floor flat is understandably hugely popular.

Seagate Court is only 250 metres from the village centre shops and cafes, and a quick few steps to the foreshore. The flat is spacious and bright with a smart kitchen and bathroom. It is comfortably furnished with a dual-aspect living room and south-facing balcony where guests can relax and appreciate the lovely views of the beach and over the sea.

A stroll along the beautiful shoreline takes you to the fabulous sandy beach at West Wittering, as well as the lovely National Trust dunes and wetlands.

Access to the third floor is by stairs only, no lift.

This flat is light and airy with stunning views of the sea and sunsets. The beach is a few minutes walk away.
It is simply furnished and comfortable.The kitchen though small, is well equipped and functional. It is on the third floor and the stairs are quite steep-a good way to keep fit but maybe not so good for the elderly and very young. Generally I would thoroughly recommend this property.

We’ve had a break at this flat two years on the run now and hope to be back again. The flat is in a fantastic location with wonderful views. It clean, cosy and comfortable. The area is also great for long walks and laid back eating. A hidden gem.

Stayed at 5 moved to 11 after one week, the stairs were too much for us oldies due to an accident in March, the public areas need a good clean, but the actual flat was lovely with great views I would add this if the internal phone goes, ignore it it's kids messing around saying they're royal mail and 4 flights of stairs to shout at kids is too much

This is our second stay at 11 Seagate and yet again it doesn't disappoint, the apartment is comfortable, just a short walk to the local amenities, but the best bit is the view, can happily sit all day watching the ships pass and the tide coming in and out.
Highly recommend a stay, if you just want to chill and relax.

Stayed at No11 several times, and the only thing that let it down, was it looked tired
But the owners have redecorated, replaced the blinds and had a general refresh, and now it is a 10/10
Views are awesome, property is clean, location is great, defiantly worth the money
We have stayed during the Easter, Summer and October school holidays, and always been enjoyable and relaxing
Breakfast at The Boulevard is recommended, as is food from the New Lee Raj

This property is in need of some TLC over the off-season. Decorating throughout and replacement of the very uncomfortable beds would in our view be a priority! Great to have a bath but very tricky to get in and out of (no hand rail) and the tank re-filling is very noisy (poor downstairs neighbours). One of the Ikea chairs needs a new cover and the dining chairs are a bit scruffy. Light beige carpets perhaps not the best choice for a rental property.
Having said all that, the kitchen was well equipped and fitted out (although the icebox in the fridge needs defrosting), and we had everything needed. All the rules and regulations were displayed.
The views alone make it the best situated apartment in the block, and with some updating would be splendid! As it is, we would not recommend it to our friends as we know they would prefer to pay a little more and get a proper “home from home”.

The view across the sea to the Isle of Wight and Portsmouth is amazing. East Wittering village has convenient shops and restaurants and is very pleasant. Control of parking at the property works well. The double bed felt as though it would benefit from a new mattress. The venetian blinds in the lounge need attention or replacing. Some paintwork would benefit from touching up. The WiFi is not the fastest but worked. TV picture occasionally broke up. These are relatively small points and did not detract from our enjoyment of the stay and we would visit again. The flat was well equipped and clean.

We have been to this area for over 20 years so knew of Seagate Court and knew of Baileys so we decided to rent the flat as it looked nice on the pictures and the views looked amazing. When we arrived and made our way up to the flat the communal staircase and area felt like something out of the 1960s and there were lots of flies and midges at the windows. When we got into the flat the views did not disappoint but unfortunately the rest of the flat did. There were hundreds of midges on the windows and patio doors so we couldn't really use the balcony during our stay. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and clean but the rest of the flat was very tired. Rusty curtain poles, stained carpets and chair covers, peeling paintwork and the beds needed new mattresses as you could feel the springs. This flat could be amazing and it's just sad that it has been neglected and I think this is because they can rent it purely on the views so if they can get the rental income they don't need to bother on the general upkeep. Unfortunately for these reasons I would not stay again and would not recommend it.

We booked this holiday because of the lovely area , the apartment was booked for the sumptuous looking sofa , not good the photos advertising the apartment need updating sofa is different, no heavy curtains photo shows curtains blinds are rusty yes rusty the whole place needs painting the water pipes making a loud noise after using at intermittent times we wanted to go back home as soon as we arrived went to baileys the following morning and told them they were helpful we have sent photos and a video of the water pipe noise hope these get passed on to the owners it needs to it has a feel of take the money but don’t spend any to maintain the apartment very disappointed as we love the area third time down here now we will return but not in this apartment very basic and rickety furniture mind the chest of drawers in the twin bed room it’s about collapsing point hope this review helps someone

The flat is in the most fantastic location as you mentioned, it is extremely popular because of the closeness to the beach a few paces away, and all the facilities of shops and eating places etc in the immediate vicinity. We had another lovely week in this comfortable flat with amazing views along the wittering beach .Really good shops,bars ,cafes and takeaway places within a short walk .We can’t wait to return next year .

This was the third year we have stayed and despite the weather not being as good as the previous years we still had an enjoyable time.
The view is brilliant especially the sunsets, its lovely to be able to just sit and look out at the sea.
The flat is very well equiped and conveniently placed for everything.
Plenty of places nearby to get something to eat.

The flat was very comfortable and the views of the beach were spectacular only downside no disabled handle in the bath so I could not have a shower in case I slipped but overall a wonderful stay also flat well equipped with all you need - ps you can get suction disabled handles that could be left for use as they do in hotels - as I only stayed for 5 days it did not matter but nonetheless I would definitely stay in seagate court again - this was my 2nd visit stayed I no 6 last time - walk in shower there

The view from the balcony on arrival did not disappoint, and being (literally) a stones throw from the beach made for an enjoyable stay. It’s a great location for accessing local shops and restaurants too

The flat itself had all the basics needed for our stay, but was let down by the poor maintenance and worn fittings and furniture. A lick of paint and replacement of rusty blinds wouldn’t go amiss.

This 2bed flat is in prime location. The views are simply spectacular! The flat is well equipped with tables chairs, cushions, & good supplies in the kitchen.

Unfortunately the WiFi isn’t very strong, the reception was often intermittent. Also some of the channels on the TV had little to no reception. The shower has a very low power setting & it can be tricky to get the right temperature, I also had to squash a few silver fish!

Overall I felt safe & comfy at this flat, and the amazing views definitely outweighed the few negatives.

Returning for 3rd or 4th time since the beach location and views are wonderful. Weather cold but heating and hot water fine.
Wittering has many ‘faces’ depending on wind and tides so no two days the same and East Head always provides a good and varied walk.

This apartment has the most amazing views along the beach and across the Solent to the Isle of Wight so when you don't feel like going out you can watch the world go by from your ringside seat in the light and airy sitting room. It's worth remembering that as it's on the third floor there are some stairs to climb, regrettably no lift in this block, but well worth the effort!
The well equipped kitchen was also a plus with plenty of cutlery and china to go round, an aspect sadly overlooked in many self catering properties but not this one. Comfortable beds and stylish furniture all made for a very enjoyable stay in this delightful apartment.

Well, this flat just has a stunning location overlooking the beach and with wonderful views along the coastline. Personally I never get bored of watching the ever changing weather and sea. The balcony means you can wander out at a moments notice to experience this, and the windows are also cleverly designed to give great views too. We have stayed here a few times and will no doubt come back again.
If I'm being picky, the decor of the flat is looking a little tired as I have stated before but this is a minor quibble. On arrival this time we were left with only about half a toilet roll and one black bag which I felt was a bit 'stingy'. The freezer door was broken and taped up with a sign saying 'do not use'. Maybe this was unavoidable but I would have expected a prior warning about this. There is no contact from Baileys such as a follow up call to check such things which I think would be nice. I'm aware I could call the office, but I like to think I make the best of things and of course, being English, maybe we don't like to moan (but I realise I'm moaning here!)
Anyway, these are very small niggles and did not really detract from another lovely week in this unique flat. Of course, we will be back :)

It was all brilliant, the flat was light, spacious and so well equipped they had thought of everything, loads of cupboard space, kitchen was amazing and of course the view you cannot beat. It was one of the best holidays we have had.
The only thing that was a shame is the fan in the bathroom, the noise drummed in your head. I don't know why it came on so early, it was about 2am there is no need, I know its not the fault of the flat but the estate so may be that could be passed on, some mornings it was louder than the sea.

We really enjoyed another week in this lovely flat at Seagate Court. The balcony overlooking the beach and the windows in the lounge affording views along the beach are just stunning and it seems impossible to get bored with the ever changing views of the sea, sky and beach. There are plenty of small shops and pubs, cafes etc within easy walking distance and this all added up to a really nice holiday for us. The flat inside is well laid out, clean and well appointed. The Kitchen is particularly well finished and modern. If you're very fussy, the flat is maybe just starting to look a little tired here and there but this certainly won't stop us from returning.
Overall, this remains one of our favourite places to come on holiday and we were very reluctant to leave at the end of the week. We will be back soon!
