A beautiful 3-bedroom villa tucked away in a quiet side street in the heart of Kalkan's old town quarter. The villa has its own private courtyard style garden with plunge pool and is a stone's throw from Kalkan beach, the harbour and many of Kalkan's best restaurants.

Villa Bianca is perfectly located in Kalkan's old town, two minutes from the harbour and a few steps more to the pebbly beach. Bars, restaurants and shops are all close by. The shady courtyard garden with plunge pool is lovely, though at the end of October we could have done with less shade and more sun! There is a large terrace off the first floor double bedroom which is sunny and pleasant, and a long narrow roof terrace which leads to the second double (it took us a while to work out that was the only way in!). Both double bedrooms are a good size, with lots of storage and good showers. The small twin is probably best suited for one person as it's very cosy. The living/kitchen area (no indoor dining) is very large and very well-equipped - one of the better villas we've stayed in for the number of glasses, crockery, cutlery and pans etc. There are lovely views of the harbour and across Kalkan from the roof terrace, and the table and chairs in the courtyard are great for breakfast or lunch (and probably dinner as well, but we ate out as there are so many restaurants to choose from). We would certainly stay here again, although perhaps a bit earlier in the season to take advantage of the courtyard's shady retreat. It's perfect for a couple or two couples, very well maintained (daily gardening, mid-week cleaning) and with everything Kalkan has to offer close by. Note that the main supermarkets and fruit/veg shops, bus station and even more restaurants are a good steep climb up from the harbour, but if you have mobility problems there are taxis aplenty.

We were met at the airport by a very friendly and reassuring driver and were whisked away in a luxurious 8 seater people carrier. He took us through the narrow pedestrian only streets in complete darkness to our truly splendid refurbished town house. Waking up in the morning revealed a delightful property arranged on 3 floors, immaculately clean and well equipped featuring an enchanting walled garden complete with welcoming plunge pool, a large open plan living room with fitted kitchen, a splendid master bedroom with en suite shower and balcony plus a superb roof terrace enjoying views over the town to the harbour and sea. The house was located in the centre of old town just a few minutes walk to an abundance of excellent restaurants serving a wonderful variety of delicious food, a few minutes further to the lively harbour containing a variety of beautifully maintained boats offering a variety of trips around the bay. The beautiful beaches of Patara and Kaputus were just a short and cheap bus ride away. A perfect holiday in an idyllic setting, without a doubt a place that we will re visit.
