A beautifully renovated 5-bedroom property in a very convenient location just 7-10 minutes' walk to the centre of town. The villa has a large pool, spacious pool terrace, a roof terrace, plus table-tennis.

3 doubles, 2 twins

A really nice apartment situated in a good location for the town.

We recently stayed at this apartment after the long wait to return to Kalkan. We used Olivetreetravel to book the villa and they have been excellent since we first used them in 2020.

The villa has a lot of positives:
- Great size, easily big enough for 10 people even though there were only six in our party
- The Pool was cleaned every day and the cleaning service was excellent.
- The proximity to the local Micros and the Town is just right. We could walk into Town with our 70+ relative in about 15 minutes. I could probably do it in 10.
- The view from the pool is excellent as it is right opposite a quite road that gives uninterrupted views of the sea.
- The pool was nice and warm.

And a coupe of minor points:
- Location and proximity to a wide road used by larger trucks.
- Could do with two water containers as 10 people will go through 19litres in about a day. Not a deal breaker as the bottles can be delivered for TRY 50 and they turn up quickly, but it would have been better to have a spare so it wasn't a panic and faff to get the next bottle.
- There is an area next to the villa that looks a bit scruffy, but you don't really have to look out on it from the pool.
- Kalkan's electricity outages were ridiculous this year and every day we lost some part of the villa electricity for two hours +. The villa is on different phases, so you never lose everything, but it alternated between losing light in four bedrooms, the front toom and outside lighting to half the kitchen and one bedroom. This is probably more to do with the amount of villas that are being built and the number of people in the villas around Kalkan than actually a problem with Bahari, but I needed to point this out.

I wanted to score the villa higher but there are few things that were a little annoying. The location of the villa is on a wide, but not what I would call a main road, however, there was some building going on near by and there were about six trips per day from lorries caring tonnes of rubble. Again, not the villa's fault, but it is at the bottom of a short, sharp. steepish hill, which meant the lorries had to ether get up a lot of speed, or use a very low gear and high revs to negotiate. This got quite annoying when you are trying to have a nice quite read by the pool.

The villa looks like it has had some refurbishment recently as everything is in good order and works well, however, the kitchen cabinets are a bit shoddy in places and a couple of the doors are nearly hanging off. it didn't bother us too much as we are not buying the villa and we could have avoided the cabinets where the doors were wobbly.

I think the villa would be more than adequate for eight to ten as there is plenty of room to sit, lay, eat and sleep. We were spoilt because we were only a party of six, so if you are looking for a comfortable villa close enough to the town to stroll in and you can put up with the occasional car/lorry/bike whilst you are having a read, then this is the villa for you.

excellent service from Olive Tree Travel - very helpful and responsive - would definitely go with them again.
The villa is in a good location to get into town easily by walking or by taxi. as above, villa was perfectly equipped with everything you need, all new appliances and furniture decoration and tastefully done- spacious throughout and good linen/towels and comfy beds. great views from pool and balconies. loved the outdoor seating area. the only slight negative for location was the proximity to road, which was more of a frequently used road rather than a quiet street.
