What a beautiful, beautiful cottage. Spotlessly clean, so comfortable - a little bit of luxury. The perfect spot to visit all the wonderful places Northumberland has to offer. A very special part of the country.

A lovely, spacious cottage. We were very comfortable and had a lovely week here! Great kitchen! Fantastic attention to detail, hamper and dog treats! We will definitely use Coquet Cottages again! Coquet View was fantastic last year and Hermitage didn’t disappoint! Thank you!

The holiday home had everything we needed, it was well equipped, comfortable, and well furnished and decorated. Close to Warkworth and other beautiful places.

Having spent a lovely week at Hermitage Cottage last year, we booked to return this summer. We were not disappointed. The 6 of us, and 2 dogs, have had a wonderful stay, surrounded by peaceful countryside. The cottage itself is spacious, well-equipped and bright throughout. Had a great week visiting castles, stunning beaches, lovely eateries and walking in beautiful countryside. No-one wanted to leave and plans are afoot to return next year!

A beautiful, peaceful cottage located close to Warkworth and Alnwick. The cottage is so spacious, bright and well equipped. The welcome hampers for humans and our dog were yummy and so generous.
Had a wonderful week exploring the area; great beaches, castles and eateries. We were all so sad to leave.

Hermitage cottage is a fantastic place. Absolutely every home comfort. Everything we needed was supplied. Very quiet, apart from birdsong!

Our cottage was nothing short of perfection. Love the location and could not have asked for more. Comfort and cleanliness was first rate. So well equipped it was home from home. Hope to return one day.

Hermitage Cottage was spotlessly clean and the welcome hamper was excellent and very generous. It was a spacious property in a beautil, peaceful location but not far from lovely beaches and interesting places to visit. The layout suited our family of 5 adults and a dog and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was our 2nd stay in Hermitage Cottage; the last time being in 2021. It was lovely to go back to Warkworth and to stay in such a comfortable place. Lots of attention to detail, beginning with the fabulous Welcome Hamper containing little luxuries such as freshly baked scones, butter, mini jams, milk and a bottle of very nice White Wine. The White Company toiletries in the bathrooms were also much appreciated. It was clear that this cottage has been well looked after and provided a perfect haven to relax in as well as being close enough to visit family and explore the fabulous Northumbrian Coast.

We have stayed at Hermitage a number of times and found it perfect for ourselves and our two dogs. It is our home from home! Absolutely wonderful.

We were visiting the area for a gathering of local family. Three generations of us in this lovely cottage. We could not have asked for more and the provision of the hamper was an un- looked for extra. Even in mixed weather we managed to have a lovely time.

A lovely spacious cottage which was stylish but also very comfortable and ticked all the boxes for 3 generations on holiday together.
It was further from Warkworth than we had realised, but still convenient to get to lots of places recommended in the area.

A lovely cottage in an excellent location for us. Everything was spotlessly clean;the Welcome hamper was amazing with so many good quality and useful items,including wine and beer. The location is excellent for exploring all the coastal areas of Northumberland especially. Facilties provided are excellent throughout.

Love this cottage, so well appointed and comfortable. We were a family of 5 with 2 adult children and a 17 year old plus our dog. It was so easy for the ‘kids’ to come and go by train on the Easy Coast mainline. We managed to cook dinner for 9 and seat everyone around the large kitchen table when friends came to visit us one day. The cottage is warm and cosy with plenty of room for everyone to spread out with a really nice feel. Perfect for a relaxing stay. Having grown up in the North East, it’s lovely to visit the surrounding area and enjoy all that is on offer.

Every aspect of our holiday has been excellent. The information provided by Coquet Cottages beforehand is first rate - we used it on many occasions. When I needed specific information about the cottage, Customer Service also dealt with it in a friendly efficient manner.
The cottage itself has been lovely. It was spotless when we arrived and everything we could have possibly needed was provided.
The rural location is beautiful - very relaxing and quiet, yet within easy reach of places like Amble and Alnwick.
Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and hope to be back next year. Many thanks.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. It included my 18 month grandson who was well catered for with a cot, high chair and stair gate. He loved the three little steps in his room.
The cottage is in a perfect location to see so much of beautiful Northumberland. I definitely recommend.

We have just had a wonderful week in Northumberland at Hermitage Cottage. All correspondence prior to arrival was excellent and very informative, Couquet Cottages have thought of everything you might need to know prior to your holiday.
The cottage itself was extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and kitted out with everything you could possibly need, a real home from home. We all agree and that includes the 2 teenagers that this was the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many cottages throughout the country. We won’t hesitate to return or recommend Hermitage Cottage and Couquet Cottages to all our family and friends.
