Tucked away on a quiet lane overlooking St David’s Church, Bay Tree Cottage is a pretty 18th-century Cotswold stone cottage in Moreton-in-Marsh. Step inside and you’ll find three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a long, south-facing garden, which is perfect for sunny afternoon barbecues. With independent shops, pubs, great places to eat, and the railway station with a direct line to Oxford and London, all within a short walk, it’s a wonderful base from which to explore the Cotswolds or for an easy and relaxing weekend in the country.

A perfect base for a few nights in the Cotswolds. The cottage itself is charming and very well equipped with some thoughtful touches. The booking process was very easy and smooth.

Thank you for a lovely stay , Bay Tree cottage was a great location for a group of friends visiting and touring around the cotswolds. The accommodation was perfect with the added bonus of the garden to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine! The beds were super comfy too. Great stay, would recommend and would definitely use Bolthold cottages again.

We spent a lovely week with our kids at Bay Tree Cottage. The weather was really nice so we could really enjoy the little backyard garden. The house is very well equipped and had everything we needed for our party of 6 (2 adults + 4 kids).
Beds were comfortable and the house is cosy and warm; ceilings are a little low in some areas, but we were expecting it by the house description.

We enjoyed our stay at Bay Tree Cottage, which has a great location close to the main street of the village and all it has to offer. The cottage was easy to locate and access, and we were able to park our car directly out front each day.

Naturally being a historical cottage, some aspects should be considered, such as steep stairs and low headroom in doorways, but these are not unusual for a property of this age.

We spent 3 nights in this cozy cottage in Moreton. The cottage is comfortable, very well equipped and has a great location with plenty of food and drink options within walking distance. It is an easy drive to many of classic Cotswold villages and attractions.

Cosy cottage in an ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds. South facing garden but unfortunately the BBQ was inaccessible due to overgrown foliage. Owner responded very quickly when we had an issue with the washing machine . Would highly recommend the White Hart restaurant in the town. Only reason we haven’t given it five stars is there are areas of minor maintenance required within within the cottage .

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bay Tree Cottage. Beware, though, that the house might not be the right pick for you in case you are taller than 1.80 meters since some of the ceilings and especially the door frames are quite low.

The property is nice, quite small but enough space. The kitchen and garden are great, kitchen is well designed and has all the right equipment. The garden is well kept and nice. The property could do with a downstairs toilet, but due to the age of the house this is probably not achievable. The location and parking is great, unfortunately the property is not cheap to stay in but its worth the money

Great location just off the high street. Some nice touches on arrival such as fresh flowers and cookies.
Shower curtain over bath was not ideal, impossible to shower without it touching you. Well equipped kitchen. The description on website about steep stairs is very reflective. There are three bedrooms but I think 4 adults is pushing the downstairs to limits, hence why I don’t think the cottage was particularly great value, however I booked it just a few weeks ago, I guess we are in high season and demand is high this year, we enjoyed our stay and had a lovely break

Great location but stairs were an issue! Beds comfy and clean. Kitchen small but we didn’t eat in there so didn’t bother us.

Just had a fabulous few nights away in this stunning cottage, post lockdown. Communication with both the cottage owner and agents who manage it was fantastic. They were super friendly, available to answer my questions and so helpful.
Cottage itself was fantastic. Stayed as a family of 4 with 2 children and dog. We all had enough space and facilities were great.
Style of interiors is very welcoming, modern and trendy, in a warm way.
Location is fantastic, just minutes from the high street, 5 min drive from Daylesford farm and gorgeous surrounding villages.
Garden was great, wifi good, television offered streaming channels. All in all, a wonderful experience!
