We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Leat over the Christmas break. The apartment looked lovely when we arrived on Xmas Eve. A beautiful wreath hung on the front door, stockings (with chocolates!) hung from the beams in the lounge and there was even a bottle of champagne in the kitchen for us. The apartment was very clean and well equipped and Vanessa had put in some extra cutlery and chairs as she knew we were seeing family during our stay. There were excellent dog walks from the front door, and Vanessa had left us details of where to go. A wonderful place to be .... we really enjoyed it.
great time in Beehive Cottage - thank you. Despite the awful weather of endless rain, my husband and I, my daughter and 3 grandchildren all had a great time visiting local places, Cotswolds Wild Life Park, antique shops, Sudley Castle and the Hollow Bottom pub for lunch, Chedworth roman villa and then lunch in Burford. so a thoroughly good time. The children really enjoyed the easy access to the municipal playground just 1 step away from the cottage: great selling point. Only hiccup we had was we couldnt get the TV to work easily and then only 6 channels. Netflix didnt want to come t...more
Fantastic place. Great location and lovely barn conversion. Close to lots within the Northern parts of the Cotswolds
I booked the Shepherd's Hut as a surprise for my partners 30th Birthday as I wanted to get away and relax and we were not disappointed! From the moment we turned up we were really impressed with how clean and well run the site was - Serena came to greet us and she was very friendly and helpful, advising us the best place to go for walks. The Hut itself was immaculate and there were so many nice touches from having robes to a welcome basket. The hot tub was lovely and secluded, so we had a great time just looking at he view and making friends with the horses in the field opposite. We wou...more
Lovely cottage in a quiet village setting. Cotswold style with all modern interior. Lovely hosts who provided nice personal touches Such as a welcome pack of milk , eggs and cake . Easy to find and Cotswolds and Cheltenham easily accessible . Lovely stay .
We had the pleasure of staying in Old Fox Cottage while visiting the UK for my nieces wedding and highly recommend it, we will definitely stay there again on our next trip home. The cottage is beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything you need. The National Trust Fleece Inn is a few steps away if you don't feel like cooking and its only a short drive to beautiful North Cotswold villages like Broadway and Chipping Campden.
Stepping Stones provides a perfect location from which to explore the Cotswolds. It is within easy driving distance to nearby villages, Blenheim, and Stratford-upon-Avon. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable with a beautiful patio area and backyard brook.
We recently enjoyed a fabulous family get together at Barebones. Everyone had a great time from the dogs, who enjoyed the walks, the grandchildren who loved dressing up, the parents who loved entertaining, and the rest of us who simply relaxed. Ample room for everyone to find their own space. Oh the unexpected guest ! You might be lucky enough to spot him in the beautiful gardens. He regularly dropped in while we were there. The white squirrel !
We had a great stay in the house, the size and luxury was much higher than we expected and we all said the photos actually didn't do the home justice. It was larger than we thought it would be, and cannot recommend it highly enough. Note for the future: If you put a decking area in the corner of the garden where it's a sun trap then the house would be complete!
Really comfortable accommodation and well equipped. Very pretty garden, pity about the rain. Perfect for family staying over for a party.
Teagles cottage is truly a home away from home. We enjoyed our stay with family; cottage is clean, comfortable and provides all facilities. Location is fantastic, walking distance from shops, restaurants, pubs, tea rooms in Stow. Served as an ideal base for our visits in the Cotswolds region, with most of the main destination within short driving distance.
We had a wonderful long weekend at this cosy bolthole. Impressions on arrival were great - warm, perfectly clean, just like the photos. Decor and furnishings all good quality with comfy beds, nice towels etc. The location of the cottage was perfect for us with a toddler - right over the road to the playground (which we had to ourselves both times) and only 15 minutes from the Cotswold Wildlife Park. The snug living room was perfect for evenings in and I imagine the garden would have been gorgeous if we were there in the summer. Really great value property and we would definitely recommend ...more
The cottage is in a fantastic location in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water but tucked away so still quiet. It’s very well equipped and clean. The cottage is a little small but this makes it a cosy place to stay. We’ll definitely be back.
Perfect holiday cottage in the heart of Chipping Campden. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in the run up to our wedding. The master bedroom is amazing, especially the roll top bath! Beautifully decorated, and extremely clean throughout. Dog friendly which was great. We will definitely be back again in the future!
The cottage is beautifully decorated with antique furniture and art and it also looks fresh and clean. It was a lovely touch to have some breakfast items supplied so we didn't need to rush out in the morning. The garden is very pretty and a nice spot to sit.
We loved the cottage, it was perfect for our family holiday with plenty of space. It was so well equipped, a real home from home.
This is the second time the family have congregated at Kingfisher Cottage an ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds. The facilities are first class and the propert is highly recommended
Amazing house in a lovely setting. Bedrooms in the house large and very comfortable. Hot tub good fun! Loads of space for a big group
A fantastic cottage that I would thoroughly recommend. However, one issue... it is classed as disabled friendly but the front door has enough of a lip on it which meant I had to find pieces of wood from a skip to get my husband in the front door otherwise we would have been in real trouble!! Also it would have been amazing if the downstairs bathroom was a wet room then I’d give it 10/10
We went as a large group of friends and fell in love with the house. It exceeded all expectations and definitely felt 5 star worthy. Beautiful decor and setting and immaculately clean. Perfect winter weekend away.
We absolutely loved our stay at Maisey Cottage - we stayed for a long week Mr while attending w wedding in a neighbouring village. We would definitely recommend the cottage it was impeccably clean and owner was super friendly and helpful! We will definitely be coming back!
Lovely quiet place to stay nearby walks and restaurants, comfortable beds , everything you need in the house , in fact it looks smaller in the photos so pleasantly surprised!
We were 5 people in town for the Cheltenham races. Winchcombe is a beautiful, typical Cotswolds town with nice pubs, food and within easy access to the racecourse. (Approx 5 miles & 15-20GBP in a taxi).
Great house to stay in bed very comfortable and cottage well equipped Generally very clean Lack of lighting in garden made it unsafe to go outside in the dark meaning we were unable to use the hot tub after 4pm (December) felt it needed lighting to enable you to enjoy the hot tub Overall satisfied and staff very approachable Lovey arrival hamper Well worth a visit
With my 50th birthday fast approaching I decided to book Almsbury Farmhouse for 12 of us to spend a weekend together. Amazing place. The cottage is lovely. Plenty of space to hang out together or do separate things if it suits. A play room for youngsters if required. Well fitted kitchen. Wood burners in the main rooms with wood supplied. Close to both Winchcombe Village and Sudeley Castle (free entry when staying in the cottage!) and lots of walks in the area. Can’t fault it!
Extremely friendly and helpful host! Really nice and tastfully decorated cottage, very clean and family friendly!
We really enjoyed our stay at College Farm Cottage. Could do with a few extra bits in the kitchen like a grill pan handle and kitchen tongs. It was nice and central for the pretty towns and villages we visited and some great walks too. Would stay again.
The location on the castle grounds is idyllic and lovely but the proximity to Winchcombe village is even better. We loved the town of Winchcombe and it was a great place to stay and visit the rest of the Cotswold area. Great place to park the car and just walk to town for a pint and dinner. The cottage was perfectly furnished, clean and comfortable. Perfect stay!
Everything is provided for a relaxing break. A couple of minor issues were fixed very quickly. The George III is ideal for 2 adults but, in my opinion, would be a little snug for 4, with one shower room/toilet and one wardrobe only. The beds were possibly the most comfortable we have ever used. An ideal location for exploring the Cotswolds. One criticism. The rear of the apartment is overlooked by other apartments yet the window in the shower room/toilet has clear glass. On several occasions we felt compelled to pull the blind. Frosting the window would be an easy solution.
We booked a week stay at this amazing property. Had we had our grandchildren with us then they would have been enthralled but for us the charm of the property was overshadowed by the difficulties of access. It certainly is a very special location & as we love Sudeley Castle so much we thought we could cope. Unfortunately the different levels caused us quite a bit of difficulty especially the two lots of wooden stairs without rails. For a weekend it would be an adventure but for a week it was difficult. We had thought we could sleep in the separate bedroom without stairs but this bed is a ...more
We absolutely love staying at these cottages . They are in a wonderful location and are beautifully clean . We return regularly .
A good conversion of a little barn with thick walls and lots of character. Very close to 417Flyup Mountain Bike Park. Was aware of the A417 quite close. Great to have lots of little logs for the woodburner. View from the velux over the valley below is lovely. We didn't use the garden but it looked good and in keeping with the rest of the charming property.
Lovely little cottage, very convenient for main high street shops, restaurants etc but still in quiet tucked away spot. Cottage much bigger than expected with lovely furnishings and secluded walled garden. It was a little chilly there but it was December and parking is a bit difficult. I would recomend though for a couple of nights break visiting the local area.
We are french people who enjoy very much the English way of life and who like to come back at Suddeley cottages for many years. (perhaps one of the most regular Customer !) See you certainly next year Sincerly .
We booked Southwinds for a few days before our wedding and the house was amazing. Perfect location in a lovely village. Will defiantly be returning.
The cottage is very comfortable, well-equipped cottage and very spacious. It is perfect for multi-day stays.
Had a wonderful week in Westerleigh cottage. Modern, with a high level of finishin and lots of authentic details. We missed a possibility to dry laundry outside.
Four of us stayed for 2 nights, great location for Sudeley Castle, Cottage homely, clean and in excellent condition Kitchen is very well equipped everything you would need for a few days stay Another plus is High Street is just 5 minutes walk
We found this cottage extremely difficult to locate and very few of the locals, who were very friendly, were unable to help. Once found, it reminded me of Port Meirion back home, a little piece of heaven on earth. It is a beautiful place but St Kenelm's is NOT suitable for anyone with a disability. There were 2 flights of stairs before getting into the flat which was a killer and we had to struggle to get my dialysis machine up. However, this did NOT deter my enjoyment of the short break. There are no grab rails in the bathroom which again is difficult for some. Also, be aware that it is...more
Really liked the lady Jane grey cottage , very clean and neat and everything you needed was in it . But I would have liked a few more tea and coffee bags as we were only there for 1.5 days and a little welcome pack would have been a lovely idea for us ( it doesn’t cost much but is a really nice touch ) . The cottage was very noisy in the early hours - could hear people over us walking around as if they were in our own house , floors v creaky so were woken up ard 6.30 both mornings as others were up then . I couldn’t regulate the shower on the first day as it was v stiff and hard to move back t...more
A group of 14 stayed at Cyder Press Farm for 2 nights while we attended a conference in Gloucester. It was a great alternative to an hotel. The Farmhouse and Barn are both charming, full of character and very well equipped. The mix of double and twin bedrooms, mostly with en-suite bathrooms, was a perfect match for our group and all very comfortable and roomy. We would certainly recommend this lovely accommodation
Beautiful cottage, we didn’t want to leave. Will be back! Not very often you can comfortably fit x6 adults in a house and still have space. Beyond cosy in the winter.
We stayed at Horseshoe Cottage for a long weekend as a family party of 8 to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable and the kitchen was very user-friendly. Although situated on the main road, parking was easy in the lane adjacent to the property and traffic noise was minimal at night. It was lovely to have such wonderful walking country in the surrounding area and yet still be within very easy reach of Moreton-in-Marsh and its facilities. All in all, a very welcoming place to stay.
A good general standard of accommodation but a few issues that impacted on our overall score. The heating struggled to cope with the cold weather (there is only one radiator in the living room that is obscured by curtains and the front door was very drafty). The stairwell walls were scuffed and some areas of carpet were heavily compacted. Neither extractor in the bathroom or shower-room worked. We were surprised that the main bedroom only had a standard double when there was adequate room for a king-size which we would normally expect of a cottage in this price range. Privacy was also a...more
Sweet cottage. When we visited the roses out front were in full bloom. Great location, walking to everything in town and price includes entry to Sudley Castle and gardens. Our one suggestion would be putting up a rack or shelf in the shower to place soap/shampoo on, otherwise very awkward in there.
This was our second visit to Sudeley Castle holiday cottages in 6 months. On both occasions the accommodation was maintained to a very high standard. The location is excellent with Winchcombe town centre just a few hundred yards away.
Excellent location. Beautiful cottage with all you need. Great pub in the village. Fantastic walk to Bibury to blow the cobwebs away! Would definitely recommend:
Very nice well equipped clean cottage. Would have no hesitation recommending to others. The only negative during our stay was the failure of the plumber to turn up to fix the radiator in the double bedroom. Very cold!!
A superb cottage in an dream loctrion in a heavenly town. Only problem was the uncountable cobwebs and spiderwebs all around the exteriors of the cottages at all levels. Am sure something can be done about it. But having said that a definite must visit and must stay. Had a memorable time with my family. Cheers
Stunning space, beautifully decorates and so homely. Amazing huge cooking and eating space and rooms for large family or friends or kids to expand into. A little hard to find - better signage would help when arriving in the dark. But that was our only complaint - it’s a lush house. Great customer service from Adam.
We stayed at Pilgrim Cottage for 4 nights for a family gathering, 6 adults two children. Size wise it was perfect for our group. plenty of room in the kitchen to cook, large living room with large sofas. Kitchen had all mod cons available. Basic pots and pans for cooking, and plenty of cutlery. Location of the cottage is great, lovely view from the kitchen window too. We stayed in October, so didn't use the garden, but imagine in summer it's a great place to enjoy. Would definitely recommend the Horse and Groom for food. Reasonably priced, good quality, and great staff.
Very good area for walking, and superb views, good pubs and cafes around the area. Winchcombe is a charming town. The accommodation was as stated above very clean, and a good location, however the creaking floorboards were really really bad if you moved in the night everyone knew about it, the shower which was very good just needed a bit of maintenance and the accommodation was generally a bit spartan. We have stayed in a number of cottages and this was the first one without a welcome pack, there was one small bottle of milk, a few odd teabags and a bit of coffee not even cleaning products to ...more
Great cosy cottage. 3 generations of family stayed and we all enjoyed the cottage. A good location for exploring this part of the cotswolds
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in tetbury lovely house in a great location for all we wanted to do. We had a couple of niggles the tap in the top bathroom was dripping sow was very hard to turn off. The TV in first floor bedroom had no reception. Also not much room to store any food in the Kitchen all cupboards were full. Best wishes Diane Thompson
we stayed at Milliner's Barn for 3 nights in September 2019. we were welcomed by the owner on arrival. The barn was very cosy with an Aga warming the kitchen all the time. The facilities were very good and very comfortable beds. Lovely walks nearby but unfortunately the weather wasn't very good.. Some areas looked a bit tired and could do with updating eg kitchen cupboards under the sink has a bit of water damage, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying next year.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights. The eggs, cake and wine were much appreciated. A beautiful home. All went very well and I even found the 7th bedroom!!! Very comfortable, clean and nothing missing. Great to have the pub across the road. A roll of kitchen paper would have been useful....
We enjoyed our stay but found a shortage of large mirrows and plugs for the bedside lights.Hope this feed back will make it better for other opeople .
