We very much enjoyed our stay here even though the weather was not kind. We loved the bright open and light sitting room (3 windows) and the views of cows, calves, sheep, and even a hare in the field next door The dark skies made for fabulous star gazing. Only a few minutes down the hill into Kirkcudbright which is a delightful little town. A lovely cottage for a peaceful break.
Yet again another great holiday with family, Very mixed weather, sleet, rain howling gales and SUNSHINE, didnt hold anyone back, no bad weather just bad clothing for the weather. They all went off for a walk into town in full waterproofs. Bike rides, blustery walks and sitting innthe sunshine. This is the week when Heron View becomes one with Robins Nest. Watching the cows with their young is always a highlight at Easter time and watching Woody the dog face off at the garden wall was hilarious, and the baby lambs in the fields further down were beautiful. Another brilliant family holiday in Robins Nest alongside Heron View. Mixed weather, sleet, rain, howling gales and SUNSHINE! Enjoyed us all being together, we all do our own thing in the day time and come together for our evening meal. The weather doesn't stop us and all have the correct clothing for the weather. Plenty of walking , fresh air and bike rides. Its the week where Robins Nest and Heron View become one and everyone enjoys the hot tub in Heron View.
