Another comfortable stay at the byre, clean, warm and well appointed. We return time and time again as the byre has everything we want from a self catering establishment! Thank you again Donald!
We had a great holiday with family, home from home, these cottages never disappoint, Great to see the lambs and calves in the fields surrounding the cottages, our daughters and family stayed in Robins nest. Apart from a couple of days with wind and rain the rest of the week was generally fine, and the hot tub had a great deal of use. All thanks to Donald and Vicky for keeping the cottages up to date and spick and span! Looking forward to our summer break in Heron View.
Another great week at Robins Nest and Heron View, lovely cottages kept clean and updated. The new bike shed had some use, this is an addition that will be well used by anyone leaving there bikes in a safe location, plenty big enough to accommodate bikes for all cottages, Robins Nest didn't disappoint, well equipped as are the other cottages on site, fantastic views from all angles and plenty of wildlife, hares pheasants and grouse at Robins Nest. Thank you to Donald and Vicky for all you do to maintain these cottages cant wait for our next visit to Heron View in the summer!
Once again we had a lovely break. The weather was mostly dry and bright but cold. Always enjoy staying here very clean and comfortable and close to everything around Castle Douglas. Will be back the end of March at High Kirkland!
