Set in the picturesque South Devon countryside Pitt Farm is the ideal location for a family holiday or a break with friends. The cottages have been created by the imaginative conversion of large stone farm buildings to offer spacious and private accommodation. Beautiful sandy beaches, secluded coves, spectacular river estuaries and the SouthWest Coast path are all nearby. Dartmoor, Totnes, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Darmouth are all within easy reach.
Lovely welcome with tray set up for cream tea!! Great accommodation for a family week away with five adults and three grandchildren who loved the play area, farm animals & swimming pool! Pool was a decent size & water good temperature. Decent sized kitchen sufficiently equipped to cook a roast dinner. Very useful having a washing machine & dryer!
Plenty of interesting places to visit in the area (once you get used to the narrow roads).
Owners were very welcoming & at hand to help with any questions.
All in all a great week away!!
Lovely, comfortable accommodation and great facilities on site. Our 2 year old enjoyed the pool, play area and farm animals. Lots to do locally unfortunately we only had 2 days but plenty of beaches nearby and we enjoyed woodlands adventure park! Definitely hope to visit again and would thoroughly recommend Pitt Farm!
The accommodation and facilities at Pitt farm were ideal for our family group ranging in age from 16 months to late 60s. Kimble wick is a spacious cottage located next to the indoor pool (very popular). The playground and animal feeding also provided entertainment but Pitt farm is in such a convenient position for the coast that it was hard to fit it all in ! We will definitely be going good back there as Pete and Sue are very good hosts.
Just came back from a fantastic weekend at Pitt Farm Cottages. Martingale Cottage easily slept 12 and was very spacious and spread out over three floors. Great location and great hosts .... Pete and Sue were very kind and helpful. We were even welcomed with a Devon cream tea :) Good facilities on the farm and good location generally, as not far from lots of good seaside resorts and other interesting places. Would definitely go again.
Myself and 10 girls descended on Pitt Farm for a hen do last weekend and I can safely say it didn't disappoint!
The owners were fantastic from the outset and on our arrival they were there to great us to ensure we had everything we needed. Also, leaving 2 bottles of wine, scones and some cream and jam was a lovely touch.
The facilities at Pitt Farm were great, we made use of the swimming pool and sauna during our stay and even got to feed the lambs on our last day!
We stayed in Pelham Cottage and it was perfect for us. There was plenty of space and the surroundings were amazing!
Grandchildren children and grandparents all enjoyed ever pit of of our stay at Snaffle Cottage at Pitt Farm. Pete and Sue are excellent hosts and nothing is no much trouble for them. The honesty shop is a great idea and much appreciated. The location is superb and the Cottage was well equipped and very clean.
We enjoyed our sixth Easter in Mullen Cottage at Pitt Farm. The cottage is spacious clean and comfortable. It has a well equipeed kitchen and large dining room and lounge. Pete and Sue always give us a warm welcome and are on hand if we need them. We enjoyed the Easter egg hunt they laid on and the use of the pool and games room where we played table tennis. We had a brilliant week for weather so enjoyed the grounds and playing boules on the lawn in the evenings.
