The house was in a great position to explore Sheringham,
Although the place slept 5 we felt the down stairs was a bit cramped for 5 adults , this could be due to there being more sofas than was really needed.
The freezer wasn’t working when we arrived and due to it being Christmas and the office being shut , this wasn’t resolved which unfortunately meant some of our food went to waste (we had pre orders delivery) these issues aside we had a great break away thank you

We arrived on a blistering hot day to a property that we had noticed before, set in a quiet and convenient location. It appears to be an extended 50s(?) property with a large conservatory at the front, service as the main entrance. Due to the heat, the conservatory blinds were down all day. There were too many sofas, a total of four, two of which were well worn. Unfortunately most were too low for my wife and I to sit in and get out of comfortably, so we used the garden chairs instead.

This is our fourth holiday at this address and the property has been re-decorated throughout making a clean fresh feeling to the house. The sofas are a little dated and worn now and would benefit from updating, as would the bed mattresses. The cooker was again too complicated to use which meant we had to eat out more than we would do normally on holiday which proved expensive. At the time of our stay the adjacent property was being substantially renovated and the sound of building operations did spoil the normally tranquil setting, which it would have been nice to have been warned about before booking.

Third stay owners maintain property well and add improvements on each visit.
Keys staff always very helpful and friendly

We are regular visitors to Sheringham but this is the first time we have stayed at 5 St Austins Grove.
Negatives 1st.
An awful lot of cobwebs and an infestation of woodlice in the lounge. Kitchen very small and the Whirpool electric oven is a nightmare to use even though manufacturers instructions provided. I think someone who understands how to work the oven should write some plain English instructions for guests.
The house is in a wonderful location in a very quiet area of Sheringham.
The property is warm and comfortable with everything a family would need.
Lots of off street parking on sight which in Sheringham is a bonus.
All in all a nice place to stay but could be so much better.

We had a lovely weeks holiday in this very comfortable and warm house which is well situated in a very quiet area of Sheringham. It has a lovely sunny sitting out area to the front which we enjoyed and well tended gardens to both front and rear. All in all a very pleasant house with everything we needed and I would definitely recommend. Should we decide to revisit the area we would look to book this property again.

We have just returned from our first visit to St Austin’s Grove - hopefully it won’t be our last.
From the moment we arrived at the lovely peaceful location in Sheringham we were very impressed. The position is excellent for both countryside and costal walks (great for dogs). Shops (a plethora of independent shops including butches, bakers, fishmongers, gift shops as well as Tesco). A multitude of eclectic cafes, restaurants and take always. Easy access to the Coast Road for days out.
The house itself is welcoming, beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and everything you require is provided. It was a real wrench to leave! We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Property in good location. Easy walk to town and beach. Only criticism back garden rather unkept, and lacks a dishwasher. Would definitively come back. Great holiday even with the Gale but you can’t book your weather.

Really loved this cottage, the decor was nice, the facilities good and the rooms well thought out. Lots of hooks in bedrooms for hanging stuff up and plenty of wall sockets for plugging in multiple devices! Three large sofas provided ample seating for 5 of us. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the town/beach, all on the flat if needs be. Kitchen did feel a little cramped at times but this wasn’t actually a ‘problem’. Mattress in single bedroom was extremely bouncy and could probably do with an upgrade but other than that I’d give the house 5 stars!!
