This is a beautiful property, which we really enjoyed staying in for the week with our 2yr old. Great location, opposite the leisure centre, and a beautiful walk down to the beach. The estate was clean and well maintained. The welcome tray of treats was a nice surprise. We had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our first family trip to Cornwall. A great base from which to travel and explore. I would highly recommend this propert and already planning to a return trip.
We ( a family of 5 with children who learned to swim in the pool and who are now in their 20s!) have been staying at Maenporth once or twice a year for around 25 years and have stayed at no 59 3 or 4 times before. We really liked the way it has been refurbished and refurnished. It was also good to see the make over of the Leisure Centre. We will definitely be back next (new) year.
This was a delightful holiday home in a great location to enjoy the superb variety of things to do in a beautiful county.
WE HAD AN ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS TIME WHILST WE STAYED AT THE BOATHOUSE 5. BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, EXCELLENT BASE FOR ALL THE GORGEOUS PLACES WE VISITED IN CORNWALL. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXCELLENT ACCOMODATION.
You couldnt have wished for a more idylic place to stay, with the most comfortable, clean and spacious cottage for an amazing price! The location of the cottage is second to none, the views are breath taking and surrounding area of the helford passage simply stunning! Every morning we had a coffee outside watching the mist rise from the river...then the sun rise...we could have stayed all day just in thr cottage watching the water! Booking and service was easy and extra help with us arriving on boxing day was all sorted...even having a hamper with tea and wine waitint for us! We love hilliard...more
Rainbow End is a really beautiful holiday let. The property was great, had everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings and from one side of the garden we could look down to the sea at Porthallow Port, which was a very short walk away for a drink and meal in the local pub. The location was perfect, a great base from which to travel each day to local beauty and tourist spots then a quiet, peaceful place to relax in the evening. Lovely welcome package of local goods - cider, biscuits, milk and clotted cream!! We met the owner on our first day and he was very friendly, then we were left to our ow...more
The property was very comfortable with a lovely homely feel. We were very impressed how well the cottage was kitted out, whatever you needed, it was there. The location was perfect. We would definitely consider returning!
Comfy apartment in great location next to the Ferryboat Inn along the Helford Passage. Excellent service, with a thoughtful welcome pack on arrival. Nice sheets & towels appreciated. Would stay again.
Lovely property - there were few minor things wrong but these were quickly rectified. We would definitely recommend &/or revisit.
We have been coming to this property at an New Year for a number of years now and love its location. Sea views from both bedrooms and the living room make it a winner.
Fantastic location and lovely apartment. Had everything we needed, beautiful view and very spacious.Facilities on site were great and easily accessible. Holiday Cornwall were great too, we lost the keys and they came out with spares within 20 minutes.
We enjoy Hove To very much and have stayed here several times now. Accommodation is perfectly located in Helford Passage, spacious and clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The only 3 small complaints are: 1. the door handle to the living room is squeaky and can wake the kids in the morning. Needs oiling. 2. Need a bigger and better TV preferably with Sky Sports, 3. Need better radios in the bed rooms.
We try to stay here at least once a year. This time the weather was rather mixed but staying in a comfortable apartment with a fantastic view didn't matter. The beach is just across the road the Cove restaurant below the apartment it ticks all the boxes. We have already booked for May.
Lovely apartment. Fab views. Decor a tad old fashioned and furnishings becoming a bit tired, but I understand it is going to have a make over over during winter 2017. Tremayne almost become a second home to us, we have stayed here so often.
Fabulous location, well organised but furniture and equipment a bit tired. The positives outweigh the downsides as far as we're concerned and we will continue to visit this flat.
L2 has remarkable views over the River and a few metres from the sandy cove. Comfortable, clean and convenient. Thank you Holiday Cornwall.
We had a very happy holiday in 67 Lower Maen. The bedrooms were comfortable and light but the sitting room looked very old fashioned and would be hugely improved with two modern sofas and new curtains.
A very relaxing holiday with plenty to do. On site facilities are excellent. Beautiful woodland walks and easy access to the beach. Great beach café with reasonably priced snacks.
The change in car parking arrangements this year were an issue! Whilst we understand the reason for change we can't understand why an extra charge cannot be made for use of a vacant space, in the lower carpark, subject to agreement with willing owners. This charge, minus an administration fee, could be forwarded to the carpark space owners probably at a profit! Whilst I am still fit enough to make the 'trek' to the top carpark I think that other older visitors will be deterred from rebooking this cottage. For a seasoned coffee drinker the lack of a caffeine in the property was a serious ov...more
The property was homely and supplied everything we needed. Peaceful area. Short walk to quiet beach. We enjoyed many enjoyable walks along the coastal path in both directions and also into Falmouth. Directions for the 'hidden' footpaths and recommendations for places to eat would have been useful. Overall a very happy stay.
- broken chair -broken microwave -repeated central heating failure -no hot water -leakage through patio doors
Property had not been cleaned, food on kitchen handles, grapes and clothes in bedroom drawers, childrens handprints on balcony doors. Microwave doesn't rotate, fridge door broken, bedroom door handle coming off. Sofa really dirty and damaged. You cannot call this luxury. PIR Lighting on stairs doesn't work, this is dangerous even for two able bodied adults. It's carefully not obvious that you are living directly above a busy restaurant business. The noise of them moving tables out to their beach area starts by 7.30 and goes on until almost midnight. This is what you will hear, not the waves. W...more
