This is our second time staying at Tower View, Ryedale House and it won't be our last.
Excellent location within walking distance of all the attractions we wanted to see...York Minster, Clifford's Tower, The Shambles anfd a dhow syvthe Barbican etc.
Beautifully appointed apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms and balcony overlooking Clifford's Tower which was lovely for having a peaceful breakfast or well earned glass of wine after a day of sight seeing.
With easy booking and self check in, we were able to just drop our bags and go...we had a fantastic few days and were sad to leave...until next time! x

A lovely decorated property, almost like a show home. Nice view from Glass windows. A very warm apartment ,due to glass windows, underfloor heating and position of building. [ would be great in winter time ] There is one fan for 2 bedrooms, which helps slightly. Almost immaculately clean, EXCEPT for walk in shower. TILES which you stand on inside shower cubicle need a GOOD clean due to RED,TERRACOTTA MOULD in GROUT ,and some black mould in places.
The apartment sleeps 4 people, yet the toaster is for 2 slice of bread only ,and kettle small only holds 2 cups of water. Microwave very big. Kitchen area small IF cooking a meal, but get by if cooking a breakfast. There is a Nespresso coffee machine. [ no capsules ]
There is a balcony with 2 chairs and table which is lovely, but some of the cleaning been missed. Great that one of the bedrooms have a good size television. Nice welcome pack left for arrival ,and cleaning items.
Good position,5 mins walk to centre ,and secure parking in a lovely building . Apartment smells amazing due to a few diffusers

A fantastic, quiet place to stay in York overlooking the River Fosse. It is within easy walking distance of the Minster and Art Gallery and is on the doorstep of the Castle Museum with views of Clifford's Tower. Would certainly stay there again if visiting York.
Stays York were excellent to deal with.

Good location, comfortable clean apartment especially the beds ! always a big bonus, only slightly spoiled by uncomfortable pillows, would definitely recommend & return on our next visit to York.

The apartment is beautiful and excellently located. So clean and everything we needed was provided.
Personal preference but I only rated down as the main bedroom bed is so solid and we prefer something with more squidge. The second bedroom had a lovely soft bed but again this is just personal preference.
Would 100% book this place again and any other apartment with Stays York.

The apartment is lovely - well appointed, premium fixtures and fittings, comfy furniture and the bonus of a Nespresso machine (bring your own pods!). The parking is fine - not the biggest spaces, but not the smallest either. You can walk from here to the Shambles in 5 mins and to the minster in 10 so a really good location for exploring the city. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good base in York.

Stayed in the same property in 2022 and were not disappointed again. Great location for all of York on foot. Quiet and comfortable property helped make the week a great one again. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

The location of the apartment was perfect for our needs, and the decor and facilities were fabulous. However, the cleaning and the shortage of crockery was a let down for such a super apartment (there were only two of us and we had to wash up each day as there was only one dishwasher tab supplied for a two night stay.
Dust - in both bedrooms - visible surface dust on the lamps and bedside tables; same in double room, and the dark green velvet headboard had an established white coat of dust on the top.
Toothpaste splashes on the shower room mirror
Balcony glass didnt look like it had been touched for some time.
Having said all that, and in hope that the above will be addressed, we would definitely book again.

This is a lovely little apartment for a short break. It was very clean and well-equipped. Situated on the bank of the River Foss, we saw (and heard) ducks, swans, geese and even a heron.

The apartment is in a great, central location to explore York, but the secure car park gates were open for the duration of our stay.

We found the modular sofa uncomfortable and the apartment was very warm (we struggled to understand the heating controls - particularly in the bedroom - additional details on how to operate the heating panels would have helped). The two bedrooms and the living room have doors that open onto the balcony (the bedrooms have no windows other than this) but we were plagued by two pigeons so we couldn’t open the doors very wide!

Amazing. Spent three nights over Christmas and just loved it. Can't wait to book again. Beautiful apartment and they even put up a Christmas tree and decorations which was lovely. Loved the under floor heating. So close to everything. Welcome hamper from Stay's York was brilliant, thanks. Will be back soon.

Quite a nice apartment, in a good location. Booking was easy, instructions sent beforehand with how to get the keys etc. Apartment could do with a refresh in places. The sheets and mattress protector were too small for the bed. The quilt was a light weight summer one, not warm enough for this time of year. York is a beautiful city and the people warm and welcoming, well worth a visit. We enjoyed our stay.

Property was better than can be seen on the images. Location was perfect for a car free week. Parking was easy and secure. Comfort of the apartment was spot on and the standard very high. Everyone really enjoyed their stay.
