A beautifully presented 2 bedroom cottage with parking. Ideally situated for an easy walk into York city centre.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time here. The cottage was extremely clean, beautifully presented and very well thought out, with lots of attention to detail. It had such a lovely, calm vibe and felt really welcoming.
The whole process was straightforward and easy, and the location was fantastic, less than a 10-minute walk into York city centre, which was perfect for exploring.
The only small points of feedback would be that the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable to sit on, as the cushions kept slipping off the edge no matter how many times we repositioned them. There also wasn’t a dishwasher, which wasn't too much of an issue for just the two of us, but I imagine for a family wanting to make the most of their time in York, washing up could be a slight inconvenience.
That said, these were only minor points and overall everything was great. We felt it was good value for money and would happily recommend it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The Mustard Pot is a superb property, absolutely spotless and the decor appears brand new, it was extremely warm and cosy, with lots of quirky features including a vanity room next to the bathroom. A large tv which includes Netflix, two sets of stairs take you to the large bedroom with velux windows, one set takes you to the other bedroom, slightly smaller but still housing a double bed, the bathroom and vanity room are also on this level, The kitchen appears to be fully equipped (we ate out as it was a special birthday)
Within the City walls, a short walk from the Ouse Bridge and central York, the location is an excellent base, with it’s own courtyard, permit parking outside the property (permit provided) and a fantastic patisserie at the end of the Street.

Very nice place , could do with a bath mat as very slippy getting in and out of shower , no extra bin bags provided to remove rubbish , and extra storage space needed in loft bedroom otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Excellent location, near train station, city centre and Bishy Road. Well equipped and cosy. Helpful team at Stays York responded speedily to our out-of-hours query about the lack of heating on arrival and we were able to resolve the issue, thank you.
