Set within a conservation area, this wonderfully presented one bedroom property is the perfect base for a longer term stay.

This was an amazing place for me to stay during my 3 months placement at the hospital. It was close to a bus stop which made it easy to get the bus into the town and was around 40minute walk to get to the town. Neighbours are lovely. Private car park and also had nice walks around about it.

The only thing that isn’t great is the roof is very low which means walking around hunched over when doing the washing up or in the kitchen area. The bathroom is also freezing cold even with the radiator for the towels.

We stayed for 9 weeks while I was working away from home. The apartment itself is modern, in excellent condition and full of everything you need to go about your every day life. It takes just 25 minutes to walk
into York itself and is only a short drive from a large shopping complex and leisure centre. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would most definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Myself and my partner loved The Loft. It was warm and comforting. We stayed for a total of 3 months and a week. Stephanie, the owner lives next door and she was a marvellous host. She was very helpful and hospitable.
We did however feel that the management company (Stays York) could have done a bit more. We had to initially tell them to send cleaners in, which they subsequently did every 2nd friday. The cleaner's as well didn't to a thorough enough job. The apartment would be clean, but it could have been done to a better standard.
This in no way reflects on Stephanie who was brilliant as a host and owner. She is a lovely lady, who showed a lot of care.
Overall I'd give The Loft a 4.5/5.

A beautiful apartment surrounded by mature trees and nature. A place of peace and tranquillity yet convenient for the City centre. I cannot recommend The Loft highly enough.
