Tucked away in your own private woodland yet within an easy distance of the centre of York this brand new one bedroom property is perfect for a short trip to York or a longer stay in the area. With everything that you need, including an outside terrace and onsite parking Tawny Lodge is the perfect place to stay.

Very comfortable accommodation although sofa is more suited to tall people- as an average height female I did slide off.

Would be useful if the directions stated that it’s between the turnings Moorgate and West Bank. As the house doesn’t have a number I had to park the car and go and look for it.

Some of the items in the kitchen drawer were not particularly clean but I guess that reflects previous occupants rather than the cleaners.

It is comfortable and convenient if you have a car. The garden is overgrown and if it was me I would have some pictures on the walls: it’s quite functional and masculine

Really enjoyable visit to York - Tawny Lodge was a great place to stay, and we’d definitely book it again.

What a great place to stay, very clean and well equipped, shower was better than at home. Very comfortable bed. Could not fault it and one of the best places we have stayed in the uk. Great location with a bus stop right outside the door to go into town and your own parking space.

Will defiantly book again if we ever go back to York
