Stayed here for 3 nights. Very comfortable and well- equipped apartment. Location is great for rural walks and easy stroll to city.

Apartment in nice quiet area of York. A shame you have to collect keys from Stays York office. But there is free parking in supermarkets which were about 20mins walk.

A nice comfortable apartment with parking. Convenient position for York centre, nice stroll into town along the riverside. Bathroom could do with a bit of TLC, shower sealant grubby, toilet could do with a bit of bleach and sink needs unblocking, but apart from that all nice and clean with everything you need. You have to collect, and return, the key at the Stays York office in town. This is very inconvenient as it's on the opposite side of York and nowhere to park nearby. We had to get a park and ride into York to collect the key then go back to move our car to the property. Spent an hour on the last day walking into York to return the key. This was a waste of time really, good job we have no mobility issues. We particularly booked this accommodation because it looked easy to access from the main A road without driving around York. Would be much easier if it had a key safe.

A lovely and well appointed apartment, just off the riverside walk into York. It’s well decorated and the armchair, sofa and bed were comfortable. Off street parking was a bonus so close to the city centre. It took around half an hour to walk to the Minster and if you go in the other direction it’s an easy stroll across the Millenium Bridge to Rowntree Park and Bishopthorpe Road.

Alma terrace is a pretty street, just off a main road, but the location at the far end of the cul de sac means that it was really quiet. Handy for a number of coffee shops and a Sainsbury’s local if you don’t want to venture too far.

I’d definitely be very happy to stay again. Only slight downside was that we arrived / departed on a Sunday and as the keys needed to be collected from the Stays York office, this involved a bit of pre-planning and a trip into central York before we could get settled. When I’ve booked other Stays York properties there has been a key safe or door code to get in, which makes life a bit easier after a long drive.
