This lovely York Town House is tucked away on a quite street of York and yet is at the centre of everything. It has a first floor lounge, leaving the ground floor as a lovely kitchen diner, leading into the yard at the back. Central to the City Centre, yet peaceful, this part of York is a treat to stay in, this town house is a gem.

Would highly recommend this property. Everything we wanted for a weeks stay with friends. A nicely decorated house with period features. Some amusing and interesting artwork throughout. Plenty of space and seating for 6 or 7. Comfortable and clean with a well appointed kitchen (have fun looking for the hidden drawers).
Perfect location just off Micklegate with plenty of bars and cafes nearby. A short walk into the city or railway station. Nice and peaceful area even though next door to a decent pub.
Communication was really good from booking through to departure. Very reactive and helpful to our request for additional bedding.
Being really picky, one recommendation to the owners would be to relocate the “please take off your shoes before going upstairs” notice so it was facing you as you come in. The first reaction on entering the building is to go upstairs to explore and you don’t see the sign until you come back down.

The property was absolutely gorgeous we all loved it. Very nicely appointed and great location to the centre of York. Nice welcoming pub 2 doors away.

Extremely spacious, cozy, and immaculately clean, High-end fixtures and appliances. Comfortable beds. Excellent location. Close to shops Downtown York is just a short 5 minute walk. Stayed here with family for over 1 month. Wished we could stay forever.

We stayed here for two months following a water leak in our own house. This property is well presented, very comfortable and superbly located. Thoroughly recommend the pub next door and you are ideally situated for “all things York” . Although you can’t park outside we didn’t ever have an issue finding a space in the allocated area. Great place and great location . Thank you

Truly characterful, spacious house in great location. Central for everything in York , yet quiet and peaceful.
The house is tastefully furnished, spacious and well equipped.
Stays efficiency and professionalism is second to none.
