Cottage is beautiful and spacious. Bedrooms, bathrooms toiletries and Kitchen excellent. car park and garden lovely. nice view from cottage and great location Would love to go back. Definitely recommend this. Would be great for friends to stay also.
We had a fantastic stay at this very comfortable house. The kitchen amenities were very good and the layout of the house worked well for us. The hot tub was fab, as was the wood burning stove & games room. As a 'seasoned self-caterer', we very much appreciated the supply of logs - we have yet to stay in a property whereby logs purchased locally are actually dry, so having a plentiful, dry supply allowed us to fully utilise & enjoy the fire. We would highly recommend Tryandish! Many thanks for a wonderful week.
This was my second stay at Allt Beag, the owner does everything to make it an enjoyable stay and Cooper Cottages provided an excellent booking service. The cottage has plenty of space for a family and is an ideal walking base for the Corbett Hills and a few Munros; made all the better by some uncharacteristically good weather. I would have no hesitationin recommending a stay in this cottage.
This is our third visit to Annfield Cottage, and we couldn't find a more perfect holiday retreat. It is tucked away behind the main street, so quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes walk to the centre of Callander and all the amenities. It is cosy, clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated, and the owners, who live locally, obviously take a lot of pride in their holiday cottage. Coopers Cottages are a good company to deal with - very professional with a personal touch. Hope to be back at Annfield Cottage for a second holiday soon.
The Almardon is spacious, well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming.
We stayed at the Wee Orchard Lodge in January 2017, and their had been quite heavy snow. The cottage is ideal for a quiet getaway as a couple with great facilities within the cottage and a great welcome from the owners. The hot tub with the clear sky is an added bonus to what is a great trip away. Would recommend to anyone and already looking forward to planning a trip later in the year!
We enjoyed our stay here in what is a very modern and comfortable house. It was very well equipped however we found that the bath towels were smaller than the average size and for what was otherwise a luxury property this was a disappointment. Some great cycle and walking paths almost on the door step.
This is a superb cottage for two people ; with four i tend to think that some areas would seem inadequate- the bathroom, for instance, and the twin bedroom. The price is quite high, and there are many vacant weeks. But, the external look of the place does not reflect the quality of the interior.
We spent a lovely week at The Old Bakery with our two young kids (2 and 6) and my parents for the Easter Holiday. The house is very spacious and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out, a large and very well equipped kitchen and a great entertainment system to watch movies in the evening. The beds were super comfy and it was very convenient to have the cot and highchair provided. The house also has a beautiful enclosed area for the kids to run in although it was a bit chilly in April to spend long playing in the yard. The location is ideal in many respects: it's right in town so groc...more
Most enjoyable stay in a well equipped and comfortable cottage. It was an ideal location for exploring this part of Perthshire.
Glen Cottage was perfect for our two families staying together. It is clean, cosy, comfortable, and in a perfect location within the village (waliking distance to all the shops and with great walks just behind the cottage) and also in a perfect location within Scotland for exploring east and west, north and south. The booking and payment processes were quick and easy and Cooper Cottages were very efficient and helpful. Perfect.
One hitch was that we were given the wrong code on arrival and couldn't get in! We had to ring up and find out why, and eventually were oven the right code. We suggest that guests might bring a torch if arriving after dark as without this it is extremely difficult to read the code.
We had stayed at Fire Station before and although we visit the area once or twice a year, its taken several years to get back in again! clearly popular, but managed this year so far. Excellent accommodation as I remembered it. Kitchen with an induction is just like we use to at home, all Le Creuset pots and pans, Miele applancies, superb toweling from Mitre. Update to the living room a bit since we were last here with new sofa's which are good and blinds replaced curtains down stairs that gives is a lighter more airy feel. When I'm visiting the area, my 1st port of call is to check here for av...more
Just back from a fantastic weekend at The Boathouse. Will definitely be going back. Views and scenery are amazing. House is great especially the enclosed deck area, great for the smaller kids. Older kids spent the days fishing and feeding the ducks on the private deck.
This was my first visit to Scotland and it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. When we arrived at View Cottage, it was immaculately clean, bright, homely and had everything we needed for our stay. Absolute luxury. The wine, biscuits and milk left for us were much welcomed! The rooms were all very comfortable, lovely beds, sofas, and the central heating and wood burner were a real treat, making the cottage lovely and cosy every evening. The surrounding areas were fabulous to explore and we were lucky enough to see red squirrels, deer and various birds of prey up close. We h...more
Very comfortable, modern and well equipped house and a great base to explore the area. Lots of options for walking and cycling. Saw red squirrels every day which was a real treat.
We had a lovely stay at Earnmhor. It is perfect for walking by the river or into the village, and comfy too.
The Mallard Cross house was perfect for our short stay. The house was clean and big enough for 8 of us plus our mental spaniel. I would highly recommend this house and we'll be back next year.
Really enjoyed my stay. Was especially grateful for the plentiful supply of firewood etc. for the wood burner , kept the lodge lovely and cosy. Cooper cottages were also a pleasure to deal with.
