We loved everything about this property! It was simply outstanding! Very clean, well maintained, gorgeous architectural detail and it's set in such a beautiful neighbourhood. The location was perfect - easy walk to downtown Stirling. Fantastic customer support from Kirsteen throughout the booking process! She was extremely pleasant any time we had a question and responses were prompt. We highly recommend this property and if we're lucky enough, hope to return one day!
The Courtyard was an amazing place to stay for our family (4 adults and 4 children). It was spacious and clean and a superb location for our holiday. The outside area provided a nice safe haven when the children wanted to play as it is secure. Plenty of information leaflets supplied and the welcome pack was so welcome after a long journey. Thanks to Kirsteen and Murray who from booking the holiday to leaving, at some point helped us with information. Definitely will return. The courtyard was like a home from home.
Comfortable, well thought out place to stay with very welcoming hosts. The hot tub was a bonus. Hope to go again.
Haverstock House is an ideal base for travelling around the Stirling area. It is in a great location and is close to lots of local amenities. Our family had a fantastic holiday, the house is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.
Great location - quiet yet within walking distance to town centre. Beautiful accomodation highly recommended!!!
The kitchen was in need of attention due to small pieces of careless damage. There was a small leak in the ensuite toilet. The lack of a breadboard& a decent frying pan
Another great stay. Thanks. .
My parents and sister stayed here for three nights and it is very charming cottage. Beautifully decorated and a pretty location with a footpath nearby to walk alongside the hills. I will pass on their comments: The cottage was very pretty, roomy, comfortable and clean. There was loads of seating, in the lounge, the dining area and outside. Beds were comfortable. Quiet, pretty location with nice garden. Location was convenient, out of town, but close enough to get to for amenities. However, it was not for us, too high tech, with induction hob, combination oven/microwave and sky tv. It too...more
Nice and beautiful place to stay with family ,clean and tidy as we stayed 3 nights. Enough parking space.
Our week's holiday at Castleview was most enjoyable. The house was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. It was brilliantly situated to discover the midlands of Scotland as well as being in walking distance of Stirling. The heating system worked well (once we understood it) except for the one bedroom where we could not turn the heating down. This was soon rectified by the handyman. Any problems we had were promptly attended to. I would recommend the house highly.
Fantastic accomadation the only down side for us was the road noise. We live in the country so not used to traffic noise. This was a great house with every thing for a great stay we were never waiting for a bathroom or shower due to the three. The conservatory off the kitchen was ideal for a cuppa and a read. The closeness to the resteraunts superb we would recommend the deli. Great walks and would take our bikes next time. Thank you Bryan for the wine we found it funny about the alarms it shows they work but no one came. The folder with all the information was excellent, the facilities in the...more
We had a lovely time here, the apartment was spacious, clean, warm, quiet and within easy reach of all the local landmarks, Edinburgh and Stirling. The flowers, milk, tea and coffee were a welcome surprise after a long drive. The large beds and good quality bedding unexpected. We would certainly stay here again!
Immaculately presented. Wonderfully spacious living room with panoramic south facing views and patio. Feels secluded yet just minutes from facilities in Stirling.
We wanted a place that was ideal for our family of 10 to attend our son's wedding in nearby Fintry. We found the perfect place. The property is stunning and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. All of us had a wonderful time and if we are ever back in this part of the world then we would definitely want to stay here again.
We stayed here as a central location for touring. The one thing that we discovered wrong was quickly addressed. The property had stocked enough provisions to get us started and we enjoyed the location. I would stay here again.
I loved my stay at Springwood. Had a bit of a learning curve with the appliances and electricity, but Mr. Bain was so kind and helpful. Great location to settle and then take day trips all over the country. If I ever go back, I would definitely stay here.
The apartment is less than a minute's walk from the high street where there is a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. We particularly recommend the Allanwater brewhouse (http://bridgeofallan.co.uk/) if you like real ale! It is only a 10 minute maximum drive to Stirling which proved to be a fascinating city - even in the rain. The castle and the new prison should not be missed, the art gallery/ museum was well worth a visit, the surrounding countryside is spectacular. The apartment was clean, quite well equipped and ideal for a couple - would be cramped with more people. Very quiet at nig...more
