We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Walmer Apartment. It was spacious and very comfortable for 4 adults. The kitchen was fitted out with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The welcoming bunch of fresh flowers was a lovely touch. Bridge of Allan is a pretty village and is a handy spot to do day trips from. Our booking, locating of the apartment, and key retrieval was made very easy by Kirsteen at Stirling Self Catering.
An ideal home base for exploring the areas around Stirling. It is a short driving distance (20-30 minute drive) to some stunning sceneries. It is situated in a quiet and charming residential area, which is a short walking distance from the shops, restaurants, supermarkets and the train station. The proximity of the train station means you can also visit Edinburgh and other cities from here. The home is comfortable and spacious. It has a beautiful garden with tables and chairs and grill if you wish to have a backyard barbecue. We had a bit of a problem with the downstairs shower, but then we t...more
We had a wonderful time in this comfortable, modern apartment in a grand neighborhood of beautiful old stone buildings, and were able to walk to the train station and all of Stirling's historic downtown sites (Stirling Castle, old jail and other historic buildings). We based ourselves in Stirling and did day trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow by train, both about an hour away. Highly recommended!
Comfortable, well thought out place to stay with very welcoming hosts. The hot tub was a bonus. Hope to go again.
Haverstock House is an ideal base for travelling around the Stirling area. It is in a great location and is close to lots of local amenities. Our family had a fantastic holiday, the house is spacious and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.
Great stay. Graeme the owner met us and there was a goody bag of essentials in case we'd forgotten anything. The flat was well equipped and adjacent to the hotel where we had afternoon tea etc. Auchterarder has a co-op and a good range of cafes and restaurants.
There were only two of us but the apartment would also be good for two couples as there are 2 spacious bedrooms with full bathrooms. It is very well located in a nice neighbourhood within easy walking distance to downtown. This was our first visit to Stirling and we really enjoyed it. The kitchen was nice but could have been better outfitted - particularly with a colander, cutting board, more sharp knives and ice cube trays. We had difficulty locking the French doors but the lady from upstairs came down right away to assist us (and quickly brought us some dishcloths as well). Although this ...more
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harviestoun House in Dollar. The house was clean and comfortable. A great location to venture over to St Andrews and Edinburgh or head west to Glasgow and all parts between. The Stirling Self Catering staff made the booking process easy and responded promptly to questions. We were very happy with our experience and highly recommend.
We stayed at Milton Hayloft for 3 days with our daughter, son in law and little granddaughter and absolutely loved it. The accommodation was perfect for us, (3 bedrooms and lovely open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area) and every aspect of the property was ideal. Fixtures and fittings were of a very high quality with every appliance you could possibly need. Location wise too the property is perfectly situated close to the motorways for easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, other Central Belt attractions and further north. There are shops and a garage close by for buying provisions. Parking for a nu...more
We had a wonderful stay right from when we walked into the lovely warm apartment and saw the flowers on the dining room table. The place was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We appreciated the way two of your employees persevered with communication when we lost one of the email attachments. It was a great clean apartment in a wonderful and convenient spot.
Maison tout équipé et très propre Région de stirling magnifique Bémol ,très prêt de la route donc assez bruyant le matin et donc reveil matinal
We were just looking for a short break central Scotland, to visit relatives. Walking distance from Stirling Train station. Apartment equipped with everything we needed. Would stay again.
Great house, garden and very well equipped.(all kitchen utensils, constant hot water, coal for a fire etc.) Only criticism is with the master bedroom. The decor was a little mismatched but fit for purpose. (All the other rooms were tastefully done) My main problem was with the bed ..... it was a 4ft double!!! I thought that in a such a huge room there would have already been a 4ft6' bed or s king. The ensuite was a wet-room with water taking a long time to drain after shower, little annoying. Otherwise we had a lovely family stay, everyone had loads of space and could have accommodated wa...more
Besides groceries (if you dine in), nothing is required. This is the perfect rental and is ideal for a base location to explore Scotland. Observe the hares playing on the lawn and the deer visiting regularly. The hostess, Eleanor, is friendly, gracious, and most concerned about her guest's comfort and enjoyment.
A lovely conversion perfect for large groups. Very well equipped. Great to have bathrooms for each room. Not far from Stirling.
I loved my stay at Springwood. Had a bit of a learning curve with the appliances and electricity, but Mr. Bain was so kind and helpful. Great location to settle and then take day trips all over the country. If I ever go back, I would definitely stay here.
Had a lovely stay here. Would only comment that a small fold up dining table would be more convenient. Highly recommend. Will come back.
