My wife and I were married in this wonderful house on the 22/10/2016. Fabulous plce for a small family wedding, the family stayed for 4 nights, they loved it. I believe this was the first wedding in the house, am sure it will not be the last. Very highly recomended.
Muy recomendable para compartis con amigos. Las fotos se corresponden 100% con la realidad y es una estancia muy comoda.
Comfortable, well thought out place to stay with very welcoming hosts. The hot tub was a bonus. Hope to go again.
A stunning family vacation, plenty of space for the kids and other family members. Very well equipped and a great location made it a fantastic trip.
Warm, cosy with modern furnishings. Perfect for my husband, my 3 and 1 year olds too. Will definitely try and stay next time we're up visiting family in the area. Thank you!
Good location. Very comfortable accommodation clean and cosy. Nice touch having fresh flowers on arrival. Highly recommend and would come back again.
The kitchen was in need of attention due to small pieces of careless damage. There was a small leak in the ensuite toilet. The lack of a breadboard& a decent frying pan
Another great stay. Thanks. .
We stayed for just three nights at Redcarr Lodge and found it to be a unique and lovely property in a beautiful rural setting. The house is very well equipped and extremely comfortably furnished with very modern conveniences. The hosts provided a welcome pack and ensured that we were settled with a personal visit. The rooms were very comfortable and warm and the hosts had provided ample entertainments in the way of books, DVD's and games. We used the house as a base to travel to the surrounding area and had no problem finding it from the directions given at the outset. The only grumble ...more
Castleview is a lovely big house suitable for large family gatherings. Thee generous size of the kitchen, dining room and living room makes socialising easy, before retiring to the comfortable bedrooms. The house has stunning views of Stirling's famous castle. This house can be enjoyed any time of the year. B
Fantastic accomadation the only down side for us was the road noise. We live in the country so not used to traffic noise. This was a great house with every thing for a great stay we were never waiting for a bathroom or shower due to the three. The conservatory off the kitchen was ideal for a cuppa and a read. The closeness to the resteraunts superb we would recommend the deli. Great walks and would take our bikes next time. Thank you Bryan for the wine we found it funny about the alarms it shows they work but no one came. The folder with all the information was excellent, the facilities in the...more
We had a lovely time here, the apartment was spacious, clean, warm, quiet and within easy reach of all the local landmarks, Edinburgh and Stirling. The flowers, milk, tea and coffee were a welcome surprise after a long drive. The large beds and good quality bedding unexpected. We would certainly stay here again!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay; we were made to feel very welcome by the owners of Tigh Mor. The location and setting was perfect for a family holiday. We would recommend this property to others who would like to stay in the Stirlingshire area. Thank you Eleanor we hope to be back soon. Dave and Muna.
This is a very comfortable duplex. It is spacious, clean and well stocked with essential supplies. The location is excellent and there is off street parking for one vehicle. We stayed here with our two young children and had a wonderful time. The close proximity to an excellent park and playground was a particular highlight for them.
perfect all around. You have to know it is a little far from major centers/attractions but this is what we were looking for. If this is what you are looking for, can't go wrong!
Had a great long weekend in Springwood Apartment. Visited for walking / biking / sightseeing and really enjoyed the very grand, comfortable, very well equipped apartment in lovely quiet surroundings. Great to have a key for the garden gate when heading for a walk into town, so I could avoid an extra walk down the long drive! Thanks for that, the goodies left in the kitchen and everything.
The apartment is less than a minute's walk from the high street where there is a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. We particularly recommend the Allanwater brewhouse (http://bridgeofallan.co.uk/) if you like real ale! It is only a 10 minute maximum drive to Stirling which proved to be a fascinating city - even in the rain. The castle and the new prison should not be missed, the art gallery/ museum was well worth a visit, the surrounding countryside is spectacular. The apartment was clean, quite well equipped and ideal for a couple - would be cramped with more people. Very quiet at nig...more
