We spent an idyllic week staying at the Dovecote. It was a perfect little haven of peace and quiet. To be able to walk out of the door into nature, walking the gardens, standing at the waters edge watching the comings and goings of the Ducks and Moorhens was bliss, you couldn't help but be in the moment, a perfect antidote to a busy working life, even if it was for just a few days.
