The cabins are in a beatiful setting, and have everything you need within, great hosts who are most helpful, ideal place for a short relaxing break.
As usual our stay was fab. Great setting, lodge was spotless. Kids had fun on the grass/play area and feeding the chickens and goats. John and Mary were so helpful and accommodating as always. This was our third time at Rivee Edge and we will be back again. Highly recommended.
We are happy again staying at River Edge Lodges the team, John and Mary, are always happy to help, are very friendly and approachable. We look forward to our second week for more of the same. A good location to base yourself for touring around the central belt and beyond. Good facilities in and around the Village of Bridge of Earn for all your dietary needs and just on the outskirts of Perth if you require something more.
We stayed for a few nights on a family visit, and it was just what we needed. Easily accessible location, close to Perth and motorway for Edinburgh, Glasgow and North. The lodges and grounds are well maintained with nice views, and lots of space for kids to run around. The main road is close, but safely behind fence and trees, and it quietens down overnight. Our double bed was very firm, but I was told they are currently replacing all the mattresses, so should be improved soon. Will definitely consider staying again.
I have no hesitation in recommending River Edge Lodges to anyone wanting a break away from home in Scotland. John and Mary who own the site keep the site and the lodges very well and both are spotlessly clean and tidy. The site is located close to the M90, so is well placed for many attractions and places to visit and is a good base. Bridge of Earn is a lovely village, and there is a very good chip shop/Chinese, a co op and a farm shop. There is a nice riverside walk from the site and there is a play area and green which is ideal for children to play on and also for picnics. All lodges have ...more
