This was our 3rd visit to The Mill House and will be back again next year. It is very home from home with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
Upper House Farm Cottages was a perfect place for myself and family to stay, Comfortable, well appointed, quiet, and plenty to keep us occupied. lots of places to visit not too far away. Everyone loved the hot tub and couldn't wait to get in to unwind after long days out,I think my son may be thinking of buying one now. Play barns were an excellent touch and provided lots to do at night. All in all a brilliant week and my Granddaughter asked if we were going again next year. I would certainly go back and would recommend it very highly. ,
This is the 2nd time myself and friends have stayed there. Would recommend to anybody and look forward to going back again
The property was absolutely fine - including the hot tub. The only 2 issues we had were not related to the state of the property at all. the first is that you can't really walk anywhere. The nearest pub is about 1.5 miles away but the road is a 60mph single carriageway with no pavement. Anything else is even further away. The only other issue we had was the WiFi - I wouldn't recommend it if you need WiFi as it was quicker using 3G apart from the odd sporadic spells where it was rapid for 20 minutes or so. Possibly somebody else staying there was using all the bandwidth or something but ...more
Lovely comfortable cottage will all the mod cons, all bedrooms ensuite, that makes a big difference not many cottages have that facility, and TVs. Welcome pack with tea coffee milk biscuits, another great benefit. Was a bit cold for the hot tub this time, but we did use it last time we stayed. Will go back again it’s great.
My boyfriend and I had such a lovely stay at the cottage, a world away from London. We really enjoyed the selection of DVDs, hot tub, sauna and pool table. We even made use of the play area where we played badminton - great fun! Felt very welcome and looked after - definitely going to return for another stay :)
