Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
I had the pod for 4 nights at the start of May, weather was fantastic, which was nice and the pod itself was very well equipped for my short break.
Good facilities also, with BBQ, washing machine, deckchairs, parasols for shade, etc basically everything I needed was thought of.
The hosts are fantastic and Damien was very quick to answer any questions.
Will be back again!
Amazing. Could not have asked for anything better. The view was stunning. Damien was very welcoming nothing was too much trouble. The animal's were friendly and well looked after, lovely to feed them every day. I definitely will go back.
What a wonderful time my family and I had at Capercaillie. The house was even more impressive than the photos on the website. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and two lovely seating areas. And a delicious welcome basket catering for my gluten-free husband.
The grandchildren (2, 5 and 8) loved the safe, enclosed garden with its barbecue hut. But the high spot was the 'meet and greet' the heritage animals and chicks.
They also loved the play shed.
We had the most amazing stay at The Ramsay at Airhouses! The lodge was beautifully presented, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning scenery — the perfect place to unwind.
A big highlight for us was the hot tub — it was such a treat to relax in it at the end of the day, especially with those gorgeous views! Another standout was the animals — my daughter Abie absolutely loved visiting them, and Damian was so kind, even letting her help with feeding them. It completely made her holiday and created some really special m...more
The lodge is very well equipped and comfortably furnished. The open plan layout is great for engaging the whole family. Damien made us very welcome and our dog loved the surrounding area. We used the hot tub and the bbq.
It's a great location. The views across Lauder Vale are spectacular. Our party visited Edinburgh, Falkirk Kelpies, Kelso, Melrose and Galashiels, as well as the Alpine roller coaster and Glenkinchie distillery.
We had a wonderful stay in the Lodge. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind . So very comfortable, peaceful and with such fantastic views from the Lodge, what more could you want. We had a hare to see us in the morning and house martins nesting whilst we were there. The weather was good and the hot tub a great way to spend an evening. Thank you all for making it special
The property was clean and tidy and we had a welcome pack. There is a shop on site for necessities. We were on a farm so viewed the sheep, horses, goats, pigs and llamas. The hot tub was great for relaxing in. Cooking was in a covered fire pit.
