Capercaillie did not disappoint. Beautiful house, in a beautiful location, perfect for our party of 10 ( 4 adults, 6 children - 4-11yrs). Everyone loved it and were certainly sad to leave.
I only have positive things to say about this lodge - it was perfect! The setting is just beautiful, nestled in the stunning Scottish Borders. Our children loved wandering around the farm and the little shop and children’s play shed were a hit!
The lodge itself was immaculate. The owners have thought of everything. It was better equipped than any lodge we have stayed in and all facilities were in perfect working condition.
The little touches made a great impression, from the amazing welcome hamper, to the Christmas tree and lights out on the balcony area.

We stayed in the Rowan pod for 2 nights and we loved it. It was so cosy. There was plenty space inside for everything we needed. Lovely setting with fab walks around the farm! Hot tub was very welcome after a cold and wet walk! Will definitely be back!
