Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
This will be our 5th time at Airhouses and once again a perfect holiday. Carol & Martin make you most welcome, the lodge is 5 star and the welcome pack is generous. Feeding the animals is the highlight of my grandchildrens holiday. If you are looking for first class accommodation and not to far from the capital city look no further.
3 families stayed along with Hamish the dog for 6 nights. It was a stunning house with every need catered for. Clean, spacious with a few wow extras like the hot tub and amazing BBQ hut. Well equipped with games, videos, booksetc and the breakfast welcome pack was delicious. Owners were lovely , helpful and friendly and the setting was beautiful. We all loved the animals-cows, sheep, alpacas, llamas, Shetland ponies and fed the pigs daily, not to mention the local wildlife birds of prey, pheasants and deer. I would highly recommend this property. 5 stars. Thanks Carol and Martin for a brillia...more
We were recommended airhouses by friends and it certainly didn't disappoint. We were looking for a relaxing, quiet break - airhouses was the perfect location. The lodge was very, clean, comfy and well equipped for our long weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely addition and filled with local, tasty products. The view from the lodge was beautiful - plenty to see and do without having to travel far. The treat of a hot tub completed the experience - well maintained and looked after. We will look forward to returning again.
Our second stay in the Ramsay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It perfectly suits our family of four.
We love the lodge with all home comforts including a well equipped kitchen and coffee machine. We love feeding the animals and enjoying the hot tub at the end of the day. We were lucky enough to spot deer this time.
It really is a relaxing stay in an immaculate lodge with beautiful scenery.
