A trip back down memory lane, as my wife's family had a VW campervan, when she was a child. The Easter weekend weather was very kind to us and touring around the Kent coast in the sunshine was great. Luckily the excellent heater and thick duvet kept us warm. Tilly was great fun to drive and very easy to park. First night at Painters Farm campsite, Faversham - nice small site with good, clean facilities. We had an absolute blast with Wendy over the Easter weekend. I was a tad nervous about driving her but it was actually very easy and I needn't have worried. Parking her up and making lunch by the sea was a joy - as was seeing the reaction from other drivers, especially getting VW salutes from other VW drivers. Loved it - we hated giving her back...
Great vehicle. We had some issues with the hire for our wedding but the staff were great and made the day run smoothly. We would recommend Glampervan to everyone for wedding and event hire.
We are both actually considering hiring one of the vans for our holiday next year.
We had a fantastic time in Margo. We drove her to Kingsdown Canping. It was the perfect combination.
The camper was in excellent condition and worked brilliantly for the 2-3 days we had it for.
The facilities inside the camper are ideal for self-sufficient camping. The space inside the camper was cosy (in a good way) and added to the adventure/experience. Our three year old son slept across the front seat bed and loved every minute of it.
