Everything about Gamekeepers Cottage at Rivercatcher was first-class. There genuinely wasn’t a single thing to fault. The cleanliness was impeccable, the attention to detail outstanding, and the thoughtful extras throughout made it feel like a truly special home from home. I could say so much more, but this is one of those places you really need to experience for yourself. 100% recommended — and already have done. We will definitely be back.
The house was booked as part of my 60th year celebration. It proved ideal for us all, plenty of space that included the garden for the kids to run around in. The kitchen was one of the best equiped we have ever had in a holiday rental. The fact there was plastic cutlery available for the smaller children a real bonus. I also liked the logo on the plates that gave an extra touch. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.
A lovely cabin with stunning views. The cabin was well equipped with a dog friendly secure garden. Very clean and an excellent welcome basket. We had ordered from Rivercatcher online shop and everything was delivered and put away before our arrival. Very convenient for exploring the area. Would highly recommend Berwyn restaurant in the village. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Rivercatcher.

We have stayed here many times since Rivercatcher first opened its doors and we have loved every moment. We have stayed in the log cabins, Shepherds Cottage, the farmhouse and Ghillies. The place is a haven of tranquillity and peace with everything thoughtfully catered for. We have stayed in other accommodation in Wales and in various AirBandBs but nothing quite beats Rivercatcher and we instantly feel at home when we arrive. This last recent visit we were greeted by a wonderful display of daffodils on arrival. We just love it and would highly recommend it. Graham and Anne
Very clean, pleasant and comfortable property with superb views. Will be returning later this year to see what it’s like in a different season.
Our family holiday was made so comfortable by staying here. We felt right at home straightaway and was able to have a grocery delivered to us. The hot tub was enjoyed everyday: evening, in the day and even on one occasion in the rain! This was the second time we have stayed here, and we’d do it again.

I cannot speak highly enough of Rivercatcher. Beautiful location and clean, comfortable and high-spec accommodation for a very reasonable price. They think of everything you need for your stay and provide a great welcome basket of food and wine. I hope to come back again soon.
