Bonn Na Cnoc is a two bedroom modern cottage on the Trotternish Peninsula. With patio doors leading onto the decking for lovely views, it is a great holiday cottage for couples and families.

This was our first trip to Skye and although it rained almost continuously, was immensely enjoyable due to the high quality of the cottage and it’s furnishings.
There are lots of spectacular walks and viewing points close by, in particular, Duntulm castle and the walk at Rubha Hunish.

Bonn Na Cnoc is a splendid cottage!

We happened upon this cottage by chance; we were originally only looking for a room with ensuite (but the island was fully booked) and we would absolutely stay here again. The cottage is gorgeous. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need (except perishables, so do shop before you go); the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable; the view is unforgettable. The road to get to the cottage is Skye at its best: passing places; sharp turns; cattle grid. The long route will take you past all of the island highlights and gorgeous walks, and you take a stroll down to the sea from the cottage. The sky is dramatic and poetic at all times. My only recommendation would be to stop at Co-op in Portree on the way up and buy anything you might need!

Bonn na Cnoc - the owners descriptions were good and also support from Highlands and Islands booking company, and text from the owner if needed. There were lovely views over to the islands of Harris and Lewis in the distance. A special place to visit for stunning landscapes and to appreciate communities working with the sea and the land. We were out walking and visiting the local area much of the day and early evening , returning to a very comfortable cottage with peace and quiet, and views of the night skies.
