The accommodation was comfortable and ideally located for visits to Bath & Bradford-on-Avon. The welcome cream tea was lovely & we also enjoyed the swimming pool. We arrived in the dark & struggled to find where to go, some more visible signage would help this.

Could not fault anything about the cottage or its surroundings. Had everything we needed. The swimming was a little bonus.

We had a lovely family weekend at CFCC , with excellent surroundings and helpful staff. Moncrate was probably the most 'snug' of all the cottages I would pay attention to dimensions another time. Great for family groups, cottages around the walled garden made a nice environment, pool was used a bit and function room perfect for our purposes.

We enjoyed our stay at Moncrate, the accommodation was comfortable and clean and the indoor heated pool was made good use of by our granddaughters who had to themselves most of the time. The location is quiet and peaceful within a short drive to town.
The family particularly enjoyed the sheep herding experience.
We strongly recommend Church Farm as a place to stay.

We booked out all the cottages at Church Farm to accommodate a family and friends celebration weekend. There were several couples with youngsters and the availability of the pool was a real hit with all the children and some of their parents too. A great facility whether the weather is inclement or not. The games room was also well used, and we held a table tennis tournament for the adults.
All the cottages were very well equipped with good quality linen and kitchenware including a full set of sharp knives – something we rarely find in a rental property but certainly gets 10/10 from us. There is also a Smart TV in every cottage.
The space in front of the cottages is surrounded by hedgerows and gates, which is ideal, as the children could not inadvertently wander into the car park. It also provided a great communal space for everyone to enjoy socialising together. The owners lent us a gas BBQ which we made good use of, and we thank them for that.
We had the option to use the function room but happily the weather was relatively kind to us, and we did not need to decamp into this at all. However, it is a bonus to have it available if required.
We would certainly recommend this venue to anyone.

We enjoyed a lovely four days in Moncrate cottage. It's quite small but certainly very adequate and a big bonus is the wonderful pool within feet from our front door. Beautifully warm and clean the pool was a great hit with our 5 year old.
The sheep herding was both interesting and fun and certainly is a must for the little ones.
The only slight downside is that there isn't any space for the children to run around. It would be great if they could make some sort of an adventure playground, no matter how small. Having said that the farm shop is within walking distance and does have a very small play area which certainly kept our little one entertained all afternoon with the other children.

We had a very last-minute booking for Church Farm cottages, and rented Moncrate along with three others for an extended family Christmas. We could not have wished for a better location, facilities, or a warmer welcome. The cottages were well kitted out, and close to the pool and games room, which the kids loved. I escaped for a teen-free quiet swim every morning; the pool was lovely and warm, so it was a very happy Christmas treat. We also had the Walnut Room which had enough space to have us all in for the Christmas dinner and other family meals.
Location-wise, the friendly and atmospheric village pub is a 5-minute walk, and their are lots of country footpaths. It is close to Bath for visits, and in a very picturesque region of England.
The last thing to mention was our warm welcome from Becky and the other members of the team, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very special. Would highly recommend!
