Created as a quiet retreat with couples in mind. Four spacious one bedroomed barns, all set in a courtyard setting, tucked away at the end of a tree lined lane. Five minutes from the A30, very central location to visit either the south or north coast.
Stylish conversions to a high standard yet retaining lots of character and original features.
Your stay in a central location with breathtaking views over the Cober Valley. Close to the Great Flat Lode an area for riding, walking and cycling along the old mineral tramways.
You can also visit Stithians Lake renowned for fishing, windsurfing, canoeing, great for running around or relax with a well deserved coffee over looking the lake. The National Seal Sanctuary, St Michaels Mount, St. Ives harbour, Poldark mine,The Eden project or just come and relax with us on the farm.
Our accommodation was above expectation very comfortable and spacious.
Away from the road the nights were very quiet, and peaceful ensuring quality rest before the next days activities.
Visiting all the towns in the region was convenient due to our location just outside Helston.
I want to return to this area and wont hesitate to rebook nine maidens.
Return guest, everything fantastic, couldn't fault a thing as normal, as everything you need. Jane and Jeremy lovely helpful couple. Will be returning again soon.
After a number of disappointing holidays in cottages which fell far short of their description we found Higher Carthew Farm and finally discovered accommodation which exceeded the online description. Clean, well stocked, warm, comfortable. I’m addition Jane and Jeremy the on-site (farmhouse) owners were there providing support, assistance, tourist information, recommended pubs and restaurants, plus (best of all) free range eggs at a very competitive price.
