We rented the Coach House and the adjacent Baillie Scott cottage for a family celebration with a group of nine. The Coach House's generous kitchen/ dining/ sitting area gave us an ideal space to eat together and socialise. The accommodation was of a very high standard - comfortable, in good condition, and very clean. I'd highly recommend Sandford to others.
Located within a beautifully renovated Arts and Crafts country house, Red Squirrel apartment is a very comfortable place from which to explore north Fife, St Andrews and Dundee. And we enjoyed watching the red squirrels, woodpecker and red deer in the garden. A lovely place.
We have been staying at Sandford for many years. We first discovered it when one of our sons was a student at St Andrew’s. We have always enjoyed it very much and this time was no exception. We used to stay in Lady Bluebell quite often but also Bailey Scott and the Giddy Limit. All the cottages are beautiful and comfortable. The business is in very good hands and it was lovely to meet Julie and some of the team looking after the grounds and the buildings. This was our 4th time at Sandford Cottages with its great accommodation and surroundings. We hope to be back again in the most to distant future.
