Stayed for two weeks and as this is our seventh visit it was just as fantastic as our first. Sue provides a truly wonderful place to stay. It's a complete wind down with a view to absolutely die for. We will be going back as soon as we can, would not want to miss this wonderful location form my list of holiday places.
We stayed for a week and it was fantastic, just what we wanted, peaceful and with fantastic views and spotless accommodation. I can truly say it was wonderful to stay at The Byre by the Sea at Ross Bay Retreat, we will definitely be going back.

Friendly host, fantastic location, lovely warm house. This is one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed, away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. I would highly recommend.
If you enjoy peace and quiet, stunning scenery, abundant wildlife, gorgeous walks and lots to do in the surrounding area then a stay at Ross Bay Retreat will not disappoint. Creel Cottage is very comfortable, well equipped and in a beautiful location. It is well equipped with everything you could need and the welcome of ice cream and homemade cake is a lovely touch. Can't wait to return.
Cosy and comfortable. Delicious cake, Near to beautiful Galloway walks. Hope to return and watch the tide rolling in.
Very comfortable stay all in all. Garden brilliant for the dogs. If I was to nit pick a bigger bed would've been nice and hooks on the back of some doors would have been very useful. A larger TV too. It was lost in the big lounge. Not deal breakers just our honest opinion. Non the less extremely comfortable stay.
