Away from it all yet close to so much our two 4 star self-catering cottages offer comfortable, well equipped holiday accommodation for 2 or 6 people. A quiet working arable and livestock farm, Stubbs Farm is surrounded by its own fields and woodland, situated in the very beautiful countryside of East Hampshire in The South Downs National Park. There are stunning views and an abundance of birds and wildlife with barn owls and roe deer often seen. This is a wonderful location for walkers, with walks from the door to enjoy a short stroll on the farm or explore further afield using the many footpaths the area has to offer. Cyclists can enjoy discovering the quiet country lanes and nearby Alice Holt Woodland Park also provides a cycle trail where bikes are available to hire. Our location is ideal as a base for exploring some of Hampshire's prettiest villages, many historic buildings, places of interest and attractions then at the end of the day return to your cottage to relax in this peaceful rural retreat.
The location was spot on, central for all our plans. The Granary had everything we needed, very spacious, comfortable beds and excellent showers. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was very comfortable indeed. Fell in love with the original features of the converted barn.
The only criticism was the creaky bedroom floorboards which is only to be expected in such an old building.
In short, we had a brilliant holiday in grand accommodation.
The Coach House is a great place to spend a week away from it all. The location is so peaceful and idyllic, yet convenient for day trips and shopping. The house itself is immaculately clean and has everything you need for your stay. The views from the windows and the little garden are stunning and we've been able to observe owls, kites, deer and other wildlife directly from there. It's just a lovely place to be.
