Dalraddy Holiday Park was established in 1968. It covers 39 hectares of what was originally heather moor land. The park currently contains 82 fully serviced traditional static holiday caravans, 6 fully serviced wooden chalet style caravans, 67 fully serviced wooden chalets, 36 pitches for touring caravans and facilities for up to 50 tents making us one of the largest caravan and camping sites in the area. The park also sells static caravans and chalets and acts as a letting service for owners that includes cleaning.
Services on the park include a licensed shop; which provides a retail outlet for estate produce, acts as a booking agent for activities and has a computer with free Wi-Fi. There is also a launderette, children's play park and a recently refurbished central toilet block with under- floor heating.
There are an array of activities to enjoy which are available on the Alvie and Dalraddy estate such as Quad biking,1.5 km zip wire course, horse riding, fishing, gorge walking, paintball, bush craft survival courses, clay pigeon shooting, archery and stag feeding. You can even learn about the environment and history of the estate by enjoying a guided tour .
Proved to be the perfect setting. Very quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. Superb walks running from the campsite to Aviemore or Kincraig. Central for all main sightseeing resorts and towns.
great location, comfortable static with decking around it lovely and peaceful caravan park set in a woodland and friendly .staff.
Aviemore 3miles great places to eat sit in or takeaway.. highland wildlife park 10mins drive
plenty of walks not far from caravan will be back again thanks x
Stayed for a week with kids, very happy with accommodation. Everything was clean and tidy. Chalet was in very good condition and had all mod cons. Would recommend. The traditional sweet shop in Aviemore was also a hit!
The chalet was warm clean and enjoyable It would benefit from a shower in the main bathroom rather than just in the ensuite The location for views was amazing and isolated but its meant there was a half mile walk in pitch dark on rough roads at night when the barrier was down But the chalet was beautiful and well furnished and tidy
Stayed for 1 night, arrived in the dark but helpfully was sent a map when we booked so easily found our way around - collected our map from the site, which had been highlighted to show us our spot and how to get to the nearest toilet block. Woke to find our tent covered in snow! Glorious campsite and surroundings, saw red squirrels and doe on site in the morning! Clean, modern facilities. Would definitely recommend.
Love Dalraddy . Lots of walking opportunities direct from the site. 4x4 driving experiences, quad bikes, and archery available on site although I didn't make use of these. Girls at reception very friendly. Small shop on site selling basics. Tent pitches are great. Individual surrounded by trees. This was my second visit and am booking for next month.
