Beautiful house in a picturesque location. The house was furnished to a very high standard and all guests were highly impressed with the spacious rooms throughout. Small touches like wood & briquettes for the stove and homemade cakes, bread and tea bags on arrival made it a very homely and pleasant stay. We will definitely recommend this house and the hospitality of Marion & Gráinne to all our friends travelling to Dingle in the future. We hope to return another time to sample some of the sights we missed out on due to our short trip.
We had a group of 16 people staying in 2 houses at Glor na Habhainn. We had booked one classic and one luxury house. We had a great weekend for Other Voices, and will definitely be back to Glor na Habhainn. The luxury house has a lot more space in the shared areas than the classic houses, furnished to a very high standard with all the kitchen supplies you need for a few days of self catering. You'll feel like royalty in this house. The master bedroom is palatial with a walk in wardrobe and all! It's a 7 minute walk in to town. Close by there is a Lidl and the Dingle brewery. And a little b...more
Great location, fantastic surroundings, beautifully restored buildings, the house was spotless, everything required provided. Playground out backgarden, brilliant for children. Would recommend this to anyone.
Great location.. nice bay....i loved the cottage it was like New, everything was squeaky clean....it was Perfect. A week wasn't long enough for us... :( ...will definitely go back there.my kids loved it...It felt like a very safe environment there was was easy to relax and enjoy our time there.I highly recommend this place for a Irish holiday... Just be willing to drive around each day for things to do but the cottages and location are super.
Perfect location and a great little town. The house was the best part and allowed a family of 14 to enjoy quality time, while each individual family has plenty of space for privacy.
House was lovely loads of room. . everything we needed .The garden was hugh great for our two teenage boys to go outside to kick a ball around. The couple that owned this house were lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. A lovely friendly village with a cosy bar walking distance from house with live music on certain nights. Not too far from anywhere New Ross about 30 min drive Wexford about 40 mins .local shop about 15 mins. traveled to Kilkenny and Waterford . Hook head and Haunted house well worth a trip Over all we had a lovely week stay and would return here aga...more
Lovely view from the house. Well equipped kitchen and spacious open plan area. Lovely to have wood burning stove for the chilly evenings. We would definitely stay there again. Well located for visitingoveky towns like Skibereen, Schull, Glengariff.
This is a beautiful little house, recently renovated and right in the middle of Wexford town. As four adults, we had loads of room over the three floors. The back yard was great for pre-dinner glasses of wine too! The location is brilliant, just down the hill to the main street. There are a few spots to park just across the road, but we used the church carpark mostly, at €3 a day - it's just around the corner. Overall a great stay, our only comment would be that it would be a nice touch to leave in a few essentials, as we've experienced in other Airbnbs - just tea and coffee and milk even...more
This was our second stay at Maple House. Our previous visit was so good, we looked forward to a second experience. Esther, the caretaker, was wonderfully attentive and friendly. We were able to relax each evening and take our time in the morning-totally relaxing and stress free!
House was very clean in excellent condition, heating/hot water worked well and easy to use. Estate was very well kept. Gearoid met us as planned and was very helpful.
very comfortable house for a family holiday we had 6 adults 1 8 year old 1 18month Magnificent view 10 minute walk to Sneem village Owner Noel very helpful No hesitation reccomending
Great location, fantastic views across the estuary and river. Very convenient to Main St shops/bars.
I had the pleasure of meeting Brian and Anabel, who went out of there way to accommodate myself, wife and two young girls. Very comfortable and clean and modern. Great location in which to go and explore Wexford with some great beaches on the doorstep for fishing or family fun. Will diffidently be back, see you next year. Paul, Laura, Darcy & Edie
Our stay was excellent all round.Grate location close to beach and nearby to shops.Plenty of space for our kids to roam without worry as they were in an enclosed area..
Must say the staff at relax ireland were great to deal with and provided me with more than enough information on my trip. Apartment was very comfortable and so clean. Location was excellent walking distance to everything you need in wexford
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is stunning, the pool in particular. Patricia was so friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend Honeysuckle Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing break spent in luxury.
Excellent location for Wexford town main street only 5 - 6 minutes walk, the house is spotlessly clean and Marie made us feel very welcome.
The holiday home was spotless, comfortable and in a great location. Staff were very helpful and the family entertainment on BBQ night was fabulous. The complex was very safe for children to play and access to the beach was great. We will definitely return!
Just back from a great week in Woodvilla. The house is lovely and has all the home comforts you need. The garden/grounds are amazing with lots of space for kids to play and explore. The local pub Mary Berry's has great food and offers a free shuttle service to and from. Lots to see and do in the area and only a short drive to Kilmore Quay. Austin the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!
We enjoyed our stay in Gannet cottage. It is very well equipped and had all we needed as a family of four. Beautiful sea views and a private walkway down to the beach. Enclosed courtyard garden to the front with deckchairs etc. so we could allow our toddler outside without fear of her running off. The only issue we encountered was we couldn't use the mezzanine bedroom for our toddler as there was only one safety gate at the bottom of the stairs and it was too dangerous to allow her sleep there without one at the top also. Better for older children who are confident with stairs.
We stayed at Castleview 11 this July . We had a very enjoyable stay , the house was very spacious , all mods cons provided , beautiful setting , I would have loved to bring the kitchen home with me,`. The caretaker Martin was very helpful and available if needed. Even the weather obliged, we had a four year old with us and he just loved the freedom in the area. Lovely restaurants especially Mary Barry's and the Lobster Pot . From start to finish with this booking we could find no fault , will definitely return here again.
Great house, plenty of room for everyone, we were a party of 8 plus a 4 year old. Highly recommended.
Sanderling is a wonderful location for family get-togethers & special occasions. It's filled with lots of natural light and is extremely spacious. The owners couldn't have been more helpful & responded immediately if we had any queries. The big room at the rear of the house is ideal for family meals & a great space for children, with toys/dressing-up box at one end. There's a separate dining room which we used quite a bit & left the large room for the children to play before bedtime/teens watching tv. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage, & the annex is ideal for parents/grandparen...more
The house is lovely and very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you'd need; the shower works perfectly, the heating and the hot water too. The place has an utterly gorgeous view. A proper spot to relax and be far away from noise, the closest town is about 1-2 km you could go walking, though is better if you have a car cause the closest supermarket is about 15 km. The hostesses are very kind and helpful and will be assured you have everything and spend a lovely time there. Definitely would recommend this, specially for a big group.
Our week in Dingle had so many magical aspects to it, and the stay at this house enhanced our time. From the photos, we didn't realize it had such pleasant views of the bay and surrounding mountains. What a surprise to find water views from the kitchen, dining room, and even upstairs high windows! The house is well equipped and luxurious, and we all agreed the beds were the most comfortable we had in 4 houses in Ireland. Walking to town could be done in two different directions with great views on either walk, about 20 pleasant minutes at most. Driving out on various excursions around th...more
We had a great time at these holiday homes, lovely and clean and spacious. Plenty of kitchen ware and no extras for electricity which was great. The kids loved the tennis courts, playgrounds and astro pitch. We were lucky we had lovely weather the week we were there so made great use of them. We also had great time at the organised onsite bbq also and the disco which was great fun. The only thing I could say was the place needs somewhere indoors for the bad weather days for the kids to hang out.
The house was fantastic. Really well equipped, spotless and very comfortable. I would recommend this house. It was nice and safe area and well located. A short walk to the club house and a fabulous beach.
We were delighted with our stay and would recommend it to others. We are keen to return to Mount Falcon.
Just back from a brilliant week in Hookless Holiday Homes. We had 2 houses beside each other . The houses had all we could need. A great spot for kids of all ages (we had 6 kids, aged 1,3,3,6,8,10 ) the place feels so secure. The entertainment on site was brilliant and everyone really had a ball. The area is beautiful with plenty to do but you do need a car! We will be back.
I booked a one bedroom at Park Place Apts through Booking.com. A few days later I received an email notifying me that all one bedrooms were taken and that I would have to take a 2 bedroom or I could cancel my reservation. I chose to take the 2 bedroom (even though I didn't need it) at the higher rate rather than start my search over. Not sure whose error that was but not a good start...as this was my first time using Booking.com. Then I found out that I had to pay in full for my stay about 6 weeks ahead. I thought Park Place Apts was requiring this but when I mentioned having to prepay in full...more
This is a 5* property - we had such an amazing holiday (helped by the lovely weather - which cannot always be guaranteed!) The views and location are stunning and on a clear day you could just sit an stare out of the copious windows for hours. There was plenty of space for our extended family holiday of 10 adults and 2 children. Everything was thought of with excellent/ample bathrooms, linens, laundry, kitchen, crockery, glassware etc facilities - we were particularly impressed by the 2 dishwashers!! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay. The only ...more
The accommodation was very good, modern and clean, with modern appliances. Could only book for six nights instead of seven, but company not prepared to reduce cost.
Yes this accomodation is very Good.had full access to leisure centre in hotel adjoining.great for families with children will be back
I really enjoyed it. I loved the disco for the kids. It would have been brilliant if there were more activities for the kids and to have the playground as well for older kids. From 5 upwards but otherwise it was a great hoilday.
This place was exactly as advertised. I liked the open flow downstairs and the four bedrooms upstairs were perfect for the six (four adults and two kids) of us. The staff were extremely helpful. We took the kids to the hotel pool on several occasions and it was a nice bonus to be able to utilize the hotel amenities while we enjoyed our stay. The playground area was fantastic, too. Our two kids (3 & 5) used the playground daily. The proximity, via car, to the City center as well as Cobh and Middleton was great, too. We also spent a day at the wildlife park and that place is a gem! Simply put, ...more
Lovely house in nice quiet area of town. Walking distance to great supermarket and quaint pubs.Lovely friendly people.Very well equipped kitchen lovely big fridge and freezer. Comfy beds, large colour coordinated bedrooms. Spacious house would suit large family.
Very peaceful and relaxing. Good place to stay and visit other attractions in the area such as the Arigna Mining Experience or the Blue Way (new riverside walk).
very enjoyable stay at hookless holiday homes . a shop and a bar / cafe on site would be a great benefit . the courtesy bus h service to the local bar restaurant was really handy. look forward to visiting again soon.
It was the first time for us at the Lodges, and it was so good, we plan to return whenever we are in the area. The lodges are completed to a very high standard. The beds are very comfortable, the sheets are hotel quality and the kitchen was well kitted out. Really liked the washer and dryer as well. TV was a good size with lots of channel options and the sofas were also very comfortable. Having a playground so near to the lodge was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed playing there. Luckily we had great weather so jogging and walking around the Island was a very popular activity as was t...more
Great location close to the town, lovely modern well maintained house with all mod cons, very safe for children with lots of play space, would go back.
Excellent w/e and couldn't have asked for a better venue. Clean, comfortable and convenient with great value for money!
Apartment was very comfortable and clean however there was some noise from the apartment above location and facilities were excellent
No towels at our lodge when we arrived and the TV didn't work but with a phone call we got both of them sorted.
We stayed in Carbery house 1+2 for a week. The location was perfect, secluded, lots of green space for kids to run around. The view was breathtaking!!! The only fault with the house is that the floorboards were like paper and with it being a house made for 8 and the second for 6, we found that it was not sound proof in the slightest. You could practically hear a whisper if you were upstairs and and people downstairs. Apart from this, we loved the place and service was great. Anytime we needed anything, the staff were very obliging. I would highly recommend this house for a holiday but just...more
We had a lovely week in this house just before Easter, it was very suitable for adults & children, the children really enjoyed the garden & we were able to walk to the beach. There is a lovely sun room to the back of the house, the owners were very attentive.
We were so blown away by our stay in Linden house . The house was so well equipped , spotless , comfortable and beautifully decorated with stunning flower arrangement . Thank you Caroline and Relax Ireland for being so helpful throughout the booking process and a huge thank you to Ester for being so helpful and lovely and making the stay even more special . Not only will we be back but I will be telling everyone about it . Many thanks Jessie wilkinson
We have 4 kids under the age of 10 and they loved Sutton Cottage. The outside facilities were excellent with play area and Fairy House. The house itself was an unusual layout and they loved playing in it. All rooms were clean and kitchen was well stocked. Only tiny issue was the lack of a toaster in the kitchen. .....but this is only a small issue. Everything else in order. I was also happy with the fact that we were accommodated with an early check in time.
Hook village is a great family holiday our kids loved every min of it we would definitely go back the only thing we had to travel a good bit for things to do during our stay
You never get a second chance for the first impression: Esther, the manager of the property, took very good care from the very beginning. We arrived in a 4 bedroom/4 baths spotless clean house (and we are picky with this), The bedding hotellike, equipped with everything you might wish for (if not Esther would have fixed it right away for sure!), new appliances, more than enough kitchenware, always enough hot water to shower (we were traveling with 3 teenagers!.......) TV in every room and good working Wi-Fi. Tiling very easy to keep clean. Big work space at the kitchen granite counter! Mode...more
We were back for a 2nd wk in this lovely peaceful house ... this year . We had a bit of trouble with our shower this time but the lovely caretaker Ann got it fixed as quick as posdible ..Its such a lovely house with beautiful views . We would have really loved to have got it for a 3rd wk but unfortunately we left it too late to book it . So near the beach for long walks . A lovely stay thank you. We will definitely be back.
Really nice apartment, well laid out, with a camp bed in the corner of the common room, so it will sleep 5. Friendly staff who arranged the booking. Location quiet but near a complex across the street. The beach is a 5 minutes walk across a short cut.
The Cottage is placed in an excellent site, it's a lovely cottage and the owners are very, very kind. It's placed between Waterville and Sneem, two small villages with restaurants, pubs, supermarket. It has been a very good option.
Location was excellent - the best reason to stay in St Gerard's. Close to everything we love about Rosslare. There are some lovely quirky touches to the house including really lovely bed linen. However a series of small things made experience pretty poor by comparison to any other house we have taken over the last decade in Rosslare. Only 3 towels supplied for 6 people. We had to buy towels for the week. No wifi (pre confirmed) - eventually a dongle delivered. In kitchen 1 bread knife supplied. No other knives - which is odd in a self catering house. The plates were too big for the ...more
8 of us stayed in 2 villas, everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location worked well for us, we had a private small bus with a driver and we were able to get to many points of interest. I would definitely stay again!
Great location, a stones throw from playground, pool and seal sanctuary and houses backed right onto forest walks. We had the two bedroom town hse, nice airy rooms in a well maintained estate. Everything provided. Very secure. Would highly recommend. We are a small family with one baby.
Wonderful comfort, amenities, quality and value. Excellent signage as well - very easy to find. We only had one night before having to travel home. We wish we could have stayed at Avon Ri longer.
Lovely small house which is situated close to the sea. No caretaker arrived in check in or check out which was disappointing
My daughter and I stayed in Parkplace Apartments & absolutely loved it!! The rooms were big and clean and so, so nice!! The price was fantastic!! And the location ..... doesn't get any better!! You are right at the city center! You can walk everywhere you need to go. It's about a 20 minute cab ride from the Kerry airport. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The front desk even allowed us a late checkout because of our flight time (with no charges). I really couldn't say enough about this place. Don't look any further. This is where you want to stay!!
We had a lovely week in Clifden Glen. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It had plenty of space for children to run around outside. We had a very memorable week and I would definitely recommend this location to other friends and family.
We had previously stayed in these cottages a few years ago and had no hesitation in booking again. Our only issue this time around was that the oven was very poor. It took us approx 4 hours to cook some chips and pizzas in it on one of the nights. We had it set to the highest setting but still they wouldn't cook any faster. Would gladly book another stay at the cottage in the future
A great place for a family to stay. The lodges were very clean and tidy. The staff in reception and the bar/restaurant were excellent. The food in the hotel was out of this world. The location just on the outskirts of the town is ideal. The only thing that we could complain about was that the lights on the stairs in both lodges were poor and made the stairwells feel a bit uncomfortable for the older people in our group. Would we stay there again? YES without question. A most enjoyable break.
The Fota Island Resort is a very lovely and beautyfull location, where we enjoyed our stay. It is a family-friendly place, where you can forget your stressfull everyday life. Only a small disatvantage ist the fact that the kitchen is not well equipped, if you want to prepare proper meals.
The house was beautiful very big we had 6 adults staying and we didn't feel like we where on top of each other. Very quiet when we where there. But lovely and relaxing. Short walk to the harbour lovely walk around aswell. Would definitely go back any time! Perfect.
The house was lovely, kitchen floor was dirty with bits of food from previous guest. Dbl bed only had single flat sheet laid on top & no matress cover.
A beautiful house,a bit dated but very homely,we loved it,we had a very relaxing holiday, the garden is lovely and big so we got to have fun with the kids, the view is beautiful from the house, the caretakers are fantastic,if u need anything their there so thank you Ray&Maureen.xx.
The house was a perfect size for us. It was decorated beautifully but was in real need of some work. There was no electric shower, the hot water lasted only one shower and then we had to wait for the boiler to heat more. On the morning of my wedding due to this unfortunately I did not have hot water to shower. Some walls needed repairing due to pictures coming down off them. 2 of the toilet seats were broken. It is in an ideal location just a few minutes from the strand.
The facility was fabulous, the people gracious and helpful, and our visit very memorable. Jason 'the Birdman' and Jimmy our shooting instructor were both very knowledgeable and made our experience special. The breakfast staff were quick and courteous, the bar staff fun and pleasant, and the people at the front desk very helpful. Those in our party that did the spa treatments thoroughly enjoyed their experience. Thanks for everything, I hope to visit again.
Really can't recommend enough. Lovely house, ideal for family break. All the staff we encountered from the cleaners to waiters to leisure centre staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great location. We will return.
despite the weather we had a great time only negative thing was the house very far from the harbour and the beach and road was too busy and narrow to walk on. Anne an amazing caretaker little welcome package on arrival.
Our experience in Fota has been better than we expected. The staff has been really helpful We highly recommend
House was really comfortable spacious and well equipped. The playground and tennis courts in front of house were great facility for children. Highly recommend this property for your stay in rosslare
Lovely house, nice space, well maintained except for shutters, very clean. Our welcome by management in Spain was awful. We were told we disturbed their lunch, she called me Cathy on the phone? Also told me I wasn't listening to directions given. Very shocking to be spoken to in that manner. On the first night we raised concern that two bedroom shutters were not working. We were told they were always like that and we were the only people to complain in 12 years. As a result we had to phone the Irish office to get Caroline involved (who advised she was in the house last year and the shitters w...more
HI I was absolutely disgusted at the state of the kitchen in this house. The fridge was actually stinking of rotten food and had food deposits in the freezer which need defrosting. the hob was rusting. A number of sockets had burnt out and had holes in them. The carpet was dirty with cigarette burns in them. I felt embarrassed and upset as I had rented this "pit" and had invited my daughter and her 2 year old to stay with me. Never again. The only consolation was that we could leave early and went to stay with my brother in Kerry I hadn't a correct sense of rental prices but it c...more
WE were a family of 5;,namely 3 adults and 2 children. The house was well maintained throughout Everything you would need for a comfortable family holiday .It was immaculate and had little touches e.g. liquid soap in bathrooms, A small supply of tea, coffee ,sugar and washing liquid and some dishwasher tablets to get you started for the week. The houses are situated in a lovely quiet area with well maintained grounds and electric gates for extra security. Would re-visit this area again.
Very enjoyable stay. Good quiet location, 10minute walk to beach and easy access to main road. Cupboards had all the main essentials needed- i.e. Tinfoil/ detergent. Would return again
Great place. Comfortable, warm home. I .will be returning. The owners always ready to rectify matters.
The property is in a remote area so a car is necessary otherwise taxis are the only alternative. There are no pubs, shops or restaurants within walking distance. No information in the property about the local area which would have been helpful. The outside is well kept and pleasant although the decking could do with a good clean. A washing line would be useful, especially as there is no dryer as advertised. Inside is comfortable but needs updating. Beds very comfortable. En-suite shower not usable, just a trickle of sometimes icy cold water and toilet tank takes about 15 minutes to refill...more
The view and houses were fine, the lights in one of the houses in the kitchen were not working and when reported the issue was dealt with promptly. I was told there was a shop and courtesy bus on the resort and there was neither and the shop was a good walk away and as I was with elderly parents it was not within walking distance. A separate entrance to each house would be useful as well as more parking space . The access to the beech was difficult and there were no steps or clear pathway for the children and adults. Usually in holiday homes there is an information folder on all ameniti...more
The over night storage heating in the house is overcharged at 20c per unit, this is the same as the day rate. The savings for night rate should be passed on to us, it is unfair that you would make a profit on this, I don't see anything that would warrant the mark up. As customers we should only pay the price that the Electricity provider charges. We had the heating on for ourselves but it also serves to keep the house in better condition, that the company would profiteer from this is unfair and quite irritating.
The location is excellent, with tennis courts, playground, golf course and good beach. The house is well equipped and the conservatory is lovely as it gives a lot of extra space, it is a very safe area for young children for riding bicycles and going to the playground.
Situated in a lovely holiday home complex. The water ran brown a few times and when we done a white wash the clothes came out brown. Ideal location to be close to the beach.
i glad i stayed in hookless great place for holiday everyone loved it hope to be back.since it was my frist time to ireland i did not know what to expect but thank god everyone loved the country i done a lot of driveing and everyone was so helpfull when sometime i got lost the country has very good roads beautifull green country side to see.speaking for myself i fell in love with ireland and hope to visit again to see more of it .
The property is located on a busy main road just outside the town, so there was a good deal of noise from constant traffic. It cost €940 to rent the property for one week, which was expensive. We had to pay a further €13.20 for the use of electricity and we were asked to pay a further €20 for Wi-Fi. A rip off to say the least! The property was comfortable and generally clean, (the floor under the beds hadn't been cleaned). It has lovely views across the bay and is a short walk into the town centre. However, the busy road, literally at the door step, is a serious issue for families with ...more
Due to unforeseen circumstances my party was unable to stay at Hillcrest. All dealings with your staff beforehand were second to none. Had I the opportunity to avail of your services again in the future, I would not hesitate.
The accommodations were completely unhealthy with mold mildew smells and wet linens. Dirty appliances and cobwebs and bugs everywhere and handprints (?) in shower stall. The management company on site was helpful. Young gentleman did everything he could to assist as he shared with me-leaving door open prior to our arrival and replacing dirty kettle -but had issues with cleaners doing their respective jobs. Also when I contacted the manager off site he was LESS than helpful. He should have traveled to review site for himself before denying any refund. Very unprofessional. Brenda Mcdermont at Re...more
