We recently hosted a 50th birthday celebration staying in Winery, Thatched and Flint. The accommodation is beautiful and very well appointed. The social space is amazing and lots of room for our party - even if the weather wasn't kind to us. The hosts were very accommodating and helped with any requests. We had an amazing weekend - cant recommend highly enough!
Amazing house with stunning views. The property has everything you would need for a large group, including a heated swimming pool with beautiful landscape. My favourite spot was the fully equipped Bar - just bring your drinks. The hosts are very good , flexible and kept great communication throughout. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Higher Wiscombe cottages.
A real retreat for a week. Excellent accommodation and location. The uninterrupted view from the property was very special. Enjoyed watching the swallows, deer and the sheep. Lorna and staff were all very welcoming. Thank you.

The Winery at Higher Wiscombe was the perfect venue for our walking group. There were 20 of us from all over England, Hong Kong and Australia. All old friends for over 40 years who gather together for a week of fun and walking. It was our turn to organise this where we live in East Devon. Obviously our home was not large enough to accommodate such a large number so I looked up a venue not far from us. We chose The Winery at Higher Wiscombe and were not disappointed. We were made to feel so welcome by Elaine, who had even put our supermarket delivery away for us! Everything about our stay at Higher Wiscombe was wonderful and we will definitely return. A beautiful, tranquil place!
Thatched Cottage is superbly appointed and furnished - both inside and out. A real 5* stay. The hosts could not be more welcoming. It’s our 4th visit, always with dogs, and it’s consistently fabulous. The location and views are to die for. Loads of walking and dog friendly eating out options locally. Highly recommended.
