We had the most fantastic weekend celebrating my 60th birthday at this beautiful venue with a group of 34 people. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the setting is truly something special — every guest commented on how stunning the property is and how warm and welcoming everything felt. The space worked perfectly for a larger group, creating the ideal balance between comfort, atmosphere, and practicality. Amazing house with stunning views. The property has everything you would need for a large group, including a heated swimming pool with beautiful landscape. My favourite spot was the fully equipped Bar - just bring your drinks. The hosts are very good , flexible and kept great communication throughout. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Higher Wiscombe cottages.

From booking all the way through to our stay Lorna and Alistair were faultless. Nothing was too much trouble. The property is incredible! This was our first time visiting Higher Wiscombe, and we couldn't have been more impressed. We stayed in The Flint, and the barn conversion is absolutely top-tier—it had literally everything we could ask for, making the stay completely seamless and relaxed. The hospitality from start to finish was superb, and the peaceful location is second to none. A huge highlight for us was the swimming pool, which was an incredible bonus that the kids absolutely loved every single day. The Thatched Cottage was lovely. Clean, bright and finished to a very high standard. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The views are spectacular. I would recommend Higher Wiscombe to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in a beautiful setting.
