We have stayed here a few times. The appartment is very well maintaied, very clean and has all the facilities we need. We have already booked to come back later this year, I think that means we do like coming here.
What a find! Lovely house with parking a stones throw from everything York has to offer. Very comfortable and well equipped. Would definitely recommend and will be going heee again.
Superb accommodation near to the centre of York. Easily the best we've ever stayed in. A genuine home from home!
2nd time we have stayed here, and we will be doing so again!!!! A lovely clean modern property, 10-15mins walk in York. Highly recommended!!!!!
We came for a wedding at the Hospitium in the Museum Gardens. The apartment was very convenient for us to get to this advent. Also the apartment was easy to get in and out of as my husband is in a wheelchair. Only a short walk into the city and the Railway Museum on a rainy day.
My only complaint was the corner suite was im need of a good clean.it was very stained. There was a loose screw on one of dinning chairs which could be dangerious But over all very nice place to stay we will be back
We enjoyed our time at 7 Buckingham, and thank you for the opportunity to stay there. The location is wonderful for walking around York. The accommodations are good. The stairs were a bit difficult for four 70 year olds - kept telling each other it was good exercise. And, being old, the one suggestion we came up with would be grab bars in the bath to help getting in and out of the tub. Thank you again for your part in a wonderful week!
York cottage was easy to find. We'll appointed. Everything provided for a short stay plus lots of thoughtful extras. Comfy. Warm. Opposite a bus stop. 7 minutes from york on bus. Very close to 2 pubs. Owners very helpful over arrival / departure times. Kept in contact in case of issues. Great experience. Highly recommended
Comfortable well equipped flat, wonderful river views. Easy access to all York attractions. Recommended
A very nice two bedroom house, set out over three floors, very clean and well presented, everything to hand that you might need. Supermarket a 5 minute walk in one direction and Monkgate Bar and access to the city is a 3 minute walk the other way. Off road car parking space at rear of the property. Main road can be a little noisy, but not a problem for myself. Helpful team at In York Holidays through whom we booked the accommodation. York is a magnificent place to spend time in and to use as a base to access the Yorkshire Dales, Moors, Wolds or East Coast resorts. We had a lovely day in Wh...more
Lovely place great location by the river for both racecourse and city centre. Plenty of places to eat out .
Stayed at 14 Manor Court for a week, just outside the of the city centre, but within easy walking distance. Local amenities close by and only about 20 minutes walk into York. Plenty of places of interest and great places to eat out.
Really good location handy for two top class hotels - Grand and Principal. Next to train station so can easily visit Leeds. The apartment has everything but had no influence on the weather- cold and rain but you cannot have blame "In York" who are always giving a first class service.
We enjoyed our 4 night stay in this lovely apartment. It is in a very quiet location but only a short walk from the centre of York. There is so much to see and do in York and the choices for eating and drinking are endless.
Stayed here with my family from a Friday to Monday as we had a family wedding in York Minster. The location was excellent and the space in the cottage for 6 adults and four wee boys was more than adequate. Our double room with en suite was very spacious. The wee garden at the rear was a bonus too. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again if a group of us had a weekend in York. A few of us hadn't been in York before but all agreed that we would be back there soon.
This is the second time we have stayed in this property and it is ideally located for a stay in York. I mentioned to Clare in a telephone conversation that the only criticism with the property was the condition of the outside garden furniture which was dirty and well past its sell by date.
Stayed in number 11 for 3 nights with our two young grandchildren. The location is superb for all the main York attractions and restaurants etc as it is smack bang in the centre of York. The only downside is you can only bring a car to the building between 5pm and 10 am. However this was no great problem. We met the housekeeper as arranged at the free parking location, which is about 5-10 minutes walk. She gave us the keys and parking permit then we walked to the apartment and came back later for the car to get our luggage after 5 pm. The Apartment itself is beautifully appointed and spotle...more
Both the agent (In York Holidays) and the property's owner (Steve) were friendly, polite and helpful as we arranged our stay, on our arrival, and subsequently. We arrived by train and found the apartment easy to get to from the railway station, by both taxi and bus. Drivers would benefit from the off road parking provided, the flat being based just a stone's throw outside the city's ancient wall, to the south, on a quiet cul-de-sac but conveniently close to main routes out of and around the centre. We enjoyed the attractive walk into central York, many times, as well as a pleasant meander...more
Pros: 1 - Great location; walking distance to most attractions within York 2 - Clean, modern, well maintained and good sized flat. 3 - All amenities provided (Functional kitchen, washer-dryer, Iron, hairdryer, car parking etc.) Cons 1 - 2 of the 3 bedrooms and also the bathrooms don't have any windows so can feel a bit stuffy. The 3rd bedroom with bunk beds is very small and can feel claustrophobic. 2 - View of Royal mail depot from living room. Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons and I would definitely consider living here again.
This was a very comfortable flat, being well equipped and recently refurbished with a surprisingly open aspect given its location. It is located within the pedestrianised central shopping area, so access to a variety of shops/market stalls for foodstuffs is very good...there is even a nice café located on the broadest of the 3 little lanes which converge on the property. The off site parking is about 10 to 15 minutes walk away, alongside what looks like a disused commercial building on Piccadilly. The permit parking area is separate from the hourly parking on the other side of the building an...more
Being the first time my son and I had visited York we were not familiar with the area in which we would be staying, however it turned out to be not too far from the centre. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything provided.Contact with the owners was easy regarding access and we would definitely recommend this property.
Ideal for a family home from home holiday in York. A little pricey , so could not recommend for regular holidays in our lovely City .
Second time staying in this apartment. Excellent location from which to explore York and the surrounding areas. Perfect for a family of 4 with all the amenities you need to make this your short stay home from home! One minor awareness point for other travelers - feather bedding and pillows. Luxurious and comfortable, unless like my wife you suffer with allergies. However, the owner/support team are very responsive, so worth asking about this as needed if considering this rental. We would highly recommend 4 Crambeck Court to anyone considering a stay in York!
A lovely 3 bedroom terrace house handy to shops, town, transport, etc. We are from New Zealand and 3 Nunmill Street was a perfect base for 2-1/2 weeks for myself and my husband who were visiting our son, his wife and grandchildren who live just round the corner in Bishy Road. Plenty of room for them when they came round. The house itself was spotless and very well appointed, with upstairs toilet too! I gave the comfort a Good only because the bed in the front room was far too hard for me and there were no top sheets provided - the weather was very hot when we were there and we didn't need duve...more
We have used this house 4 times over the past 8yrs and have always been comfortable with it. However this time we were more than pleased, it seemed brighter, cleaner and more of a home away from home, not just a rental accommodation. Kevin was very helpful and the cleaners were excellent. The bus stop at the corner made it easy to get into the Centre of town and home again. Our only suggestion would be a tumble dryer would have been useful, as given the weather hanging the clothes outside was not possible. We will definitely use this house again.
We have stayed here many times because of the location, it is quiet even though it is so close to the city centre and there is secure parking. The property is basicly clean ( the shower cubicle could do with a deep clean and the sealent renewed ) but apart from that the caretakers do a great job as this is a large property and is always ready for the 2pm entry, sometimes sooner.
I stayed in this apartment with my mother. It is well maintained and exactly like the photos. Great location as it's a walkable distance from tesco, sainsubery's, train and bus stations. All york attractions are close. The agent came and picked us from the train station and that was very kind of her. The apartment is clean and a house keeper was sent to us in the middle of our stay. One down fall is that there are some noises at night shouting of people out late
