Ten beautifully appointed and individually designed cottages offering accommodation for a total of 53 in cottages sleeping 4 -10 guests. Fantastic for 'getaway' short breaks or celebrations with family and friends they offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy the privacy and beauty of the estate set in the rural borderlands of Cheshire and Shropshire, and to explore the rich pickings of the surrounding area if you so wish.
We hired a number of the Combermere cottages for a weekend to celebrate a number of significant birthdays. The location ensured that we relaxed but we were in easy reach of the excellent Combermere Arms and Audlem village. Beautiful walks, tennis competition and a lovely evening in the Beckett property in which we had caterers cook a dinner for us. We hope to be back in the warmer weather.
Thank you to the team for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
I have stayed at Crossley on a number of occasions so had no hesitation in booking it for a family reunion post-Christmas. Our guests were absolutely thrilled with the property, the estate and the facilities, despite the inclement weather. The only thing that could have been better was if there had been a fire or log burner in the living room. Even so, we were very comfortable and I hope to return soon.
We have been going to Combermere Cottages for a few years now. We have stayed in all but 3 of the cottages. We mainly take the grandchildren who can never wait to go back and enjoy the freedom of the woods, bikes and grounds. Staff are welcoming and the accommodation is always ready on time.
Overall exceptional. You should advertise more that you supply frozen meals. Unfortunately only ice cream in the freezer. A way should be found to possibly pre-book food. Overall fantastic stay and we will return
Stone Lodge, beautifully presented with everything you need. Pleasantly stands on its own and very quiet. Great base for exploring the locality. Lovely pub the Combermere Arms, 10 minute walk -a different place to the one we visited 20 years ago!
