Spread across the beautiful 22-acre estate and tucked amongst the trees, our cabins are the perfect escape for those of you who want to step back from the intensity of life and unplug. Designed for maximum comfort and relaxation, four of our cabins have their own en-suite bathrooms, with Roost and Gaggle using our shared garden washhouse. All come with a sumptuous double bed with luxury linens.

Everything was very good, and would definitely stay again.

Cabin was comfortable and had a nice vibe due to the shape of the cabin which is octagonal. Its lovely to wake up with the trees around you.

We were not aware on booking there was a yoga retreat on that weekend and would have liked to have been made aware of that because at times we felt restricted on where we could sit in the evenings when the ladies all got together.. We were not made aware at the time of booking that the cafe would be closed. It's a small thing but In the mornings when I am an early riser and I like to go get a morning coffee when away from home on a break. The cafe was closed and being used to cook the meals for the half board retreat guests. However, we were invited to sit in the cafe area when we liked but unable to place an order. for hot drinks Two of your lovely staff did offer us a jug of iced water when sitting in the cafe area during our stay which was most appreciated during the hot spell.

As always, lovely stay, Cosy cabin with tea and coffee supplied for guests. Friendly staff who go above and beyond. Beautiful setting, Grounds well maintained. Next time would love to stay in one of your tree houses

All I can say is WOW! Exceeded my expectations! I work in event venue sourcing so had been on my radar for a while and honestly would recommend to all friends, family and clients. We came for a personal trip with our 6 month puppy, staying in the Roost cabin. Everything was extremely clean and absolutely loves the bathrooms, truly a luxury in the glamping world! Stunning surroundings, and the communal kitchen was great as well. We didn't eat at the cafe but it looked amazing inside. Can't recommend enough and we will DEFINITELY be back!

I gone with my child for 2 nights on a cabin (without private bathroom). It was very pleasant. The children love the environment and the freedom while in West Lexham.

First stay at West Lexham for my seven year old daughter and me.
We stayed in Roost (this cabin uses shared bathroom facilities) this is a lower budget cabin, but for my budget it was high! So would of been nice to have fairy lights in the cabin like the higher priced ones! Comfy bed! Clean! Cost!
Short walk to the bathroom and torch provided for night time.
Bathroom facilities are six separate bathrooms with toilet, shower and one has a bath and baby changing! These are clean and water always hot. Nice shampoo provided too.
The cafe - didn’t use it!
Used the outdoor kitchen to cook for ourselves, one ring electric hob, fridge, microwave and toaster- fine for making pasta. Sat on the cafe table and chairs outside to eat.
Swimming pool - great!
The lake wasn’t suitable for wild swimming, loads of water weed and algae (slightly disappointing because it’s on the website as wild swimming) I was looking forward to taking my daughter for a lake dip! But the pool makes up for it.
There are two boats and paddle boards if you want a splash about on the lake!
The communal areas are spotless clean, gorgeous gardens and wildflowers, it’s so peaceful and calm.
The fire pit area was great too.
I wish we were staying more than the two nights!

Everythng was good. Would stay in this cabin again. Shower block was ok and kept clean. Swimming pool kept clean and was warm enough when sun was out. Tree houses, cabins and tents were closer together than map suggests, and when family sat outside their treehouse it took away the peace and quiet that we were hoping for, but generally it was quiet. RAF planes flying over also disturbed the peace, but again was tolerable. Enjoyed listening to birds that were active amongst trees. Cafe wasnt open much so we brought our own food. Food choices were not good unless you wanted a well being experience.

We found our stay at the cabin very enjoyable. It was good to spend time close to nature and we apreciated the lake with its boats, swimming pool, as well as playing babington
We were not happy with the outside kitchen because the rubbish bins were overflowing resulting in a lot of flies around the food preparation areas.
We notified you about a delivery of some bacon and other goods but noone came to check it out. There was also another delivery of perishable food which had been left outside the cafe on our last morning. We left around 11.30 and the delivery was still outside the cafe.
We thought West Lexham a beautiful place especially the garden that grows fresh vegetables..

We had a wonderful weekend at west lexham in a cabin in the woods. My little girl loved the place. There’s gas bbqs to use, a pool, row boat and SUP board. My dog loved running around the grounds enjoying the freedom. This is a super, special place and we plan to return for longer next time. Restuarant was great, food delicious but they were a little uncommittal about us having an evening dinner one eve, hence the mark down on one category. All very minor. We were happy to eat out. I truly lovely, relaxing place.
