This location, whilst tricky to find, is just fantastic; breathtaking views and peace and quiet! The cottage was clean and well equipt, including information about the area and lots of board games. Our kids LOVED feeding the chickens our scraps and the pool was a big hit and a decent size for proper swimming. We had good weather so largely used the house as a base to explore the area and all the beaches. The owner was friendly and helpful, but kept to himself which we appreciated. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family and would book again should we go to the same are...more
I am really happy to say all the good feeling about this holiday cottage. It is a quiet place in the middle of the field and wood. The house is very comfortable and very clean. The holiday cottage is very spacious. The owners are very welcoming and warm.
Beautiful, well appointed cottage . It's opposite a pub serving delicious food Lots to do in the area Excellent stay
A fabulous house in a great location perfect for a family holiday with the children and dog. The house is lovely and has all the amenities you need. The view from the balcony is stunning and perfect for viewing the amazing sunsets! Will definitely be returning back!
The cottage was very clean and super spacious. Olwen was a fantastic, helpful and friendly host. And properly is located in a lovely quiet area located with easy access to Snowdonia, Conwy and Denbigh - which was ideal for us.
We stayed here as our honeymoon and it was amazing. The cabin was really lovely and fully equipped with everything we could want. The views are amazing. The perfect place to recharge.
This is our second stay at Casula and it was as good as if not better than the first and Michelle and Andrew were very helpful with the slight problem we encountered. A lovely cottage in a perfect location and with the bonus of no parking issues. Plenty of places to eat and drink and so many fascinating little towns and villages to visit .
Tyddyn Mawr cottage was a beautiful, well appointed cottage. It was clean and comfortable with all the home comforts. Wifi was excellent. A perfect location for visiting the stunning area surrounding it and we had a fantastic week here, helped by lovely weather. The hosts were very helpful & friendly too.
We had a fantastic short break here. The cottage is immaculate - everything seemed very new, but there were lots of vintage features to give it a homely feel. It has been decorated beautifully and is very cosy and warm with central heating and a log burner. The beds were amazingly comfy, the kitchen is very well equipped, and plenty of gadgets such as TV, DVD player, iPod dock and wi-fi. The garden is spacious with a seating area that looks out over the fields and Abersoch beach. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
We stayed here as we were climbing Mount Snowdon over the weekend. The location is great. The cottage is securely tucked away but also close to amenities; Snowdonia National Park, shops, restaurants etc. The cottage itself is beautiful. Tastefully decorated and the owners have thought about everything right down to all of the utensils in the kitchen and the dolce gusto coffee machine which we have at home. So it was like going from home to home! Everyone in Wales were extremely friendly and the owners are lovely. Would highly recommend staying here and we'll definitely be returning :)
We have stayed in Conwy several times in the past but this was by far the best cottage we have stayed in. Exceptionally well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need even including a stair gate for young children. Beautifully decorated and perfect location within the town walls. Very warm and cosy. Also a nice terrace outside the kitchen with table and chairs where I had my coffee in the morning with a lovely view of the castle.
stayed ay wavecrest last year and loved it couldn,t wait to get back this year fab place great location a home from home.roll on next year.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Storehouse Cottage. It was the perfect base to explore the area and we loved the cottage so much we ended up adding another two days to our stay! It was an incredibly charming cottage and fully equipped with everything we needed and was also immaculate. The Queens Head Inn is across the street and they served as our contact whenever we had any questions. We also dined there frequently because of their fabulous food and service. We highly recommend the cottage.
We stayed here for three nights in September as a base to explore Snowdonia and it was perfect. We were two couples so the two good sized double bedrooms were great. The kitchen is big and well stocked so cooking was easy and the lounge is cozy with a wood burner to make it even better. The attached gallery and cafe are also lovely and Ralph made us really feel at home. Would thoroughly recommend.
The apartment is gorgeous, very spacious and well decorated. The location is excellent, very close to the beach and just a couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and shops of Rhosneigr. There were however a few minor issue. The biggest of which was the noise from upstairs. This was particularly bad early in the morning and affected the quality of our sleep, especially that of my (older) parents. The kitchen could do with some more equipment- only one rusty baking tray and the new recycling ragtime was a bit of a pain. There is also some damp under the window in the master bedroom. As menti...more
We had an amazing time, the cottage was perfect for us Joyce was so friendly and was there to greet us when we arrived and had the cottage nice and warm for us, the wine and cakes were an added bonus. Thank you very much
This was a fantastic find. Over the moon with our stay at the tree house. The owners Patrick & June were absolutely lovely, warm friendly people. The whole experience was a delight, will definitely visit again in the future.
House provided all amenities promised and required. Very convenient fairly level walk into Conwy. A couple of things needed fixing but no major problem.
We had a relaxing week in the gorgeous Farmhouse with our two young daughters. It is large and well equipped, with beautiful views across open countryside. Only a short drive down to the coast and nestled in the stunning scenery of Snowdonia. A perfect trip and a recommended property.
The apartment was great; ideal location and super facilities. Lots of space for 2 couples - big bedrooms, roomy sofas in the lounge for all to collapse on after busy days out. Nice to have the bedrooms on different floors as well, as it gave us the feeling of a bit more privacy for each couple. Unfortunately, the smell of damp and general dampness throughout let it down a bit. We did a wash while we were away, but due to the weather weren't able to hang the items outside, and some things weren't properly dry by the time we left (too warm to put on heating). Slippers and jackets left in the...more
We had a lovely time in this apartment, everything we needed- cosy, comfortable and brilliant views.
The property is in an excellent position picking up sea views and giving great access to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped And the space in the kitchen diner perfect for the group size the house sleeps. Being only 10 minutes to the A55, the property provides a good base for touring the island.
Really enjoyed our stay at Tapestry House for a week from Easter Saturday through to the following Saturday. There were 10 of us in all, 6 adults, 2 primary age children, 1 toddler and 1 high speed, (on his hands and knees), baby. In this upside down house the fitted child gates to the stairs were highly valued. The house is well appointed and comfortable with a good sized garden and a great balcony although the weather was a bit cool for us to be able to really enjoy it. Wi-Fi was a disaster over the Easter weekend but the router was replaced by Wednesday and everything was then OK. When...more
we were a party of seven including a 6 year old and a17 and 20 year old.The house offered plenty of space for all of us and having the extra upstairs lounge made all the difference. The owners met us in person and there was a lovely welcome gift of bubbly, welsh cakes, milk ,teabags erc. waiting for us. Access to the dunes and beach from the house is great (no need for dog leads) - straight out of the gate and you're on the dunes. we did all our own cooking and there was every pan and utensil that we needed and plenty of glasses and crockery etc. The only things that i can think of that w...more
We had a super week. The Piggery is a wonderful place to stay, and it felt like a little bit of luxury! The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need and are extremely welcoming and friendly. The location is stunning, and there is so many fun things to do within a close proximity.
I've stayed in a lot of apartments and cottages and this is one of my favorites. The house is very comfortable and exactly as shown in the pictures. It's very nicely decorated and has been renovated, so it has all the modern conveniences. The kitchen was the absolute best part. It was perfectly stocked with cookware, dishes, etc. so we were able to cook most meals at the cottage. The lounge was very comfortable as well. The upstairs bedroom was very large and the bed was pretty comfortable. The only downside was the shower. It is installed on a low, angled ceiling, so that if you are over a ce...more
We arrived just as the new owners themselves were moving in. They were extremely hospitable and helpful despite the pressures on themselves in just moving. However, the downstairs was tired, suggesting the previous owners had decided not to invest anything before their departure. The kitchen units needed attention and some utensils looked worn out, particularly the cutlery. The downstairs toilet/washroom needed better lighting while some parts of decor looked like retrievals from a car boot sale! The website also claimed the cottage had internet. For us, access to 3G is not the same as full...more
This really is a lovely house in a beautiful location. Family break & 30th birthday celebration plenty of room for all. Good facilities & activities within a few miles of the house. Veiws are wonderful & we look forward to going again & would highly recommend for a relaxing break.
Excellent location ,quite and peaceful ,short walking distance into Conwy , would have booked for 2017 ,but the price has increased too much !
Picturesque settings, great for taking a break the hustle of every day life. Great central location to go walking or the to the coast. the laundry has a nice mix of modern and rustic features
A recently renovated property, which has been finished to a very high standard. Each of the bedrooms has an en-suite and the living/dining/kitchen is a lovely space. Its located in a really convenient position if you're looking to visit Surf Snowdonia.
This was my first holiday in North Wales for 40 years and the first for my family, we all had a great time, with many varied days out exploring what the North Wales had to offer had to offer, North Wales has many breath taking views. The house location being rural may not suit everyone, but for us the absolute silence, the views, the character of the house, made it awesome.we do hope to return soon.
Unbeatable vistas from comfortable large apartment. Never ending displays of sea, mountains and wildlife. Could of spent a week just looking out the Windows.
the house is lovely and modern, the bathroom is huge but I would prefer a bath as well as a shower, the underfloor heating was great in the bathroom and lovely toiletries to use. The bedroom is huge with a very large bed and lovely bedding. The kitchen is very small but useable, no washing machine but dish washer. No internet, which in this day and age I find odd, I thought it was advertised as having internet. We had a problem with the hot tub we tried to use it on the sat but it was showing 44 degree and was unable to even get in it as to hot, we rang the owners (one number no one answ...more
perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful time. The cottage is lovely and comfortable. We stayed in the winter but would love to return in the summer to enjoy the garden.
We had a beautiful stay with our whole family including our grandparents and dogs, wonderful walks around and fresh crabs from Church Bay. The cottage is perfect decorated - with a great sense for colors and furnitures.
This is the second time that we have stayed at Estuary View and we weren't disappointed. The owners have tried hard to make the apartment as comfortable as possible and to provide everything you might need. Right on the beach and dog friendly so a great choice for dog owners. Well situated with many attractions within reach by foot, train or car. A lovely part of the world.
Had a great time, been going for years. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Great location in the beautiful hills.
Ideal for what we wanted to do........able to park outside the property.......be carful if you have a low profile car ....the slope is sharp......lot of places closed for the season......but still plenty of things to do and places to eat.
Landau is set in a quiet, scenic location and the owner was welcoming. However, despite me asking before booking that there was internet provided and being assured there was. The Internet was not working. We needed this to book days out and plan our journeys, so this did impact greatly on our holiday. I spoke to the owner on departing and was told, 'yes it can be a bit hit and miss'. This is not what I was told by the owner when booking. Also the television signal only worked intermittently. For £600 I expected more.
Is an excellent venue for a large family with the cosyness of the open fires. The bar and pool table are a great asset a good way to break the ice and for the whole family to enjoy
The Apartment was very nice, cosy an clean. The fridge was full of delicious things for an original welsh breakfast. The furnitures were new and the kitchen was also well equipped. It was very near to the city centre and the promenade as well as the most of sights in town. It was a pleasant stay for our family.
Spacious, well equipped and in a convenient location for sight seeing. There was plenty of room (six adults, one child and three dogs) and Anglesey is a beautiful island with lots of great beaches. We also managed to find a couple of dog- friendly pubs serving great food. we would definitely return to Gull House and Anglesey in the future.
We stayed at the Stables with all the family to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for a great weekend. We were there with my four month old granddaughter and we asked for the heating to stay on and this was done with no bother. We were recommended the Oyster Catcher Restaurant by the owner and we spent a lovely evening there. Cottage excellent value for money and we intend to return
We visited Hunters Lodge for a weekend in October 2016. We were the only visitors so was very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. An excellent Base to explore the delights of Anglesey.
