This location, whilst tricky to find, is just fantastic; breathtaking views and peace and quiet! The cottage was clean and well equipt, including information about the area and lots of board games. Our kids LOVED feeding the chickens our scraps and the pool was a big hit and a decent size for proper swimming. We had good weather so largely used the house as a base to explore the area and all the beaches. The owner was friendly and helpful, but kept to himself which we appreciated. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family and would book again should we go to the same are...more
Perfect home from home the ideal place to unwind and recharge the batteries. To see Wales at it's best there is no better place to stay.Beautiful views lovely country walks. The only way to appreciate the Ysgubor is to stay there.
After a very warm and friendly welcome from hosts Kim and Nigel we had a wonderful weeks stay at Nant Y Glyn. Everything you could possibly need was available in this cottage and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in. The village of Eglwysbach is a lovely, friendly and quiet Welsh village with The Bee Inn just a hop, skip and jump from the cottage. We shall definitely be back to stay with so much yet to explore in lovely North Wales.
A fabulous house in a fabulous location..straight out of the garden onto dunes and beach..lovely area
We loved Casula. The location is brilliant, can walk easily to beach, castle, local cafes and restaurants and we had no problems with parking just in front of the house. Beautifully, thoughtfully decorated, lovely and clean with everything we needed. Loads of storage space for a small property too. Perfect for the 4 of us.
Stayed in Garden Cottage for 7 nights in June two adults and a 3 year old. First impressions very good, Joyce greeted us on arrival and showed us around. A lovely cake and bottle of wine were left for us which was appreciated. Cottage is well equipped, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Liked the fact that eco friendly products were provided for washing up, laundry and general cleaning. Wifi excellent. Beds comfy, nice en-suite bathrooms with shower over bath however pressure of water in shower wasn't always great but this is a minor thing that didn't spoil our stay. Would definitely ...more
Stayed here for our honeymoon (15 month old son and dog included), it was just what we needed - away from it all but only a short drive if you do want to venture "out". The views were fantastic, hot tub and sauna perfect for some alone time when our toddler was in bed, enough space in the garden for our dog to explore and have a good play with his toys. Would highly recommend
We had a very good stay in the Little coach house. Everything we needed was there. The owners were friendly.
The cottage was as described on the edge of a quiet village. On arrival we were met by the very helpful owner, shown around the cottage and got all the information we needed to stay at the cottage. We were pretty much left on our own from then on which suited us fine. The location is central with one local pub which was friendly and cosy with an open fire. We did not eat at the local pub the menu was lacking we went elsewhere (Black Lion Excellent). Loads of good places to visit in the area and we would visit again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Storehouse Cottage. It was the perfect base to explore the area and we loved the cottage so much we ended up adding another two days to our stay! It was an incredibly charming cottage and fully equipped with everything we needed and was also immaculate. The Queens Head Inn is across the street and they served as our contact whenever we had any questions. We also dined there frequently because of their fabulous food and service. We highly recommend the cottage.
Really enjoyed the stay at Fig Tree, very relaxing and a great cottage for to stay for the week, Lovely views across Snowdon.
Good Location Lovely cottage Not easy to park (small Road) Quit Good comfort We had a good time in this cottage
A very nice spacious property in a good location. A few niggles which prevented it from being excellent: 1. The shower curtain over the bath was stuck together with mold. 2. One had to be careful not to turn any taps on when someone else was having a shower to avoid them having a cold shower! 3. The wooden work surface in the kitchen is rather impractical for a holiday let.
This is a beautiful cottage perfectly located for all the adventures in North Wales. It's an amazing place to come home to at the end of a big day. The layout is perfect and the kitchen is well-equipped. We look forward to our next visit (& will be sure to spend more time in the Gallery cafe!)
The Honey Pot is a lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The location is peaceful and relaxing and we particularly liked walking down to the lake. Its make a perfect base for exploring the Llyn peninsula or Snowdonia.
. Das Studio ist...more
We stayed for a week-4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 infants. The house is in a brilliant location with plenty to do in the surrounding areas and lots within walking distance. The house was big enough for us all comfortably and the little extras such as children's puzzles was lovely. It was also a godsend to have use of a dishwasher and washing machine! The only minor issues we found were that the water pressure wasn't great so if you were showering and someone else ran a tap, the shower would stop! Also, the recycling bins were full and other guests had put rubbish in the shed which was qui...more
The Farmhouse is in a lovely, quiet but accessible location, and has stunning views from every window. We loved our stay here. The house was welcoming and well equipped, and the beds are the best I've ever had in a holiday cottage. Hosts Mike and Fran are warm and helpful. Highly recommended.
The apartment was great; ideal location and super facilities. Lots of space for 2 couples - big bedrooms, roomy sofas in the lounge for all to collapse on after busy days out. Nice to have the bedrooms on different floors as well, as it gave us the feeling of a bit more privacy for each couple. Unfortunately, the smell of damp and general dampness throughout let it down a bit. We did a wash while we were away, but due to the weather weren't able to hang the items outside, and some things weren't properly dry by the time we left (too warm to put on heating). Slippers and jackets left in the...more
The property is in a wonderful location for watching the sea and boating, clean light and well decorated with a nice book collection. In all it provided a wonderful stay and we were reluctant to leave. We know the area very well with parents 200 yards away on Deganwy road - having stayed in Conwy and the locale many times. This one has the best view! It does have some minor downsides. Access to the property is difficult; the lane is narrow and sometimes blocked by deliveries or workmen's vans but parking nearby on Gannock Park is free. The gate and steps to the kitchen door steep and narrow...more
Really enjoyed our stay at Tapestry House for a week from Easter Saturday through to the following Saturday. There were 10 of us in all, 6 adults, 2 primary age children, 1 toddler and 1 high speed, (on his hands and knees), baby. In this upside down house the fitted child gates to the stairs were highly valued. The house is well appointed and comfortable with a good sized garden and a great balcony although the weather was a bit cool for us to be able to really enjoy it. Wi-Fi was a disaster over the Easter weekend but the router was replaced by Wednesday and everything was then OK. When...more
This was an ideal holiday for my family and our dogs. We walked every day On the beach and dunes and had lovely relaxing afternoons on the balcony . The car didn't move for a week and we look forward to returning.
We arrived just as the new owners themselves were moving in. They were extremely hospitable and helpful despite the pressures on themselves in just moving. However, the downstairs was tired, suggesting the previous owners had decided not to invest anything before their departure. The kitchen units needed attention and some utensils looked worn out, particularly the cutlery. The downstairs toilet/washroom needed better lighting while some parts of decor looked like retrievals from a car boot sale! The website also claimed the cottage had internet. For us, access to 3G is not the same as full...more
We found the property comfortable, spacious, well equipped, handily situated for shops , sea view from the front. Parking on the main road was not a problem.
The location and views from this cottage are perfect for a quiet holiday. Very high standard of finish inside. Great walking available straight from the door. We also enjoyed great mountain biking nearby. Everyone staying in our group just loved it!
Picturesque settings, great for taking a break the hustle of every day life. Great central location to go walking or the to the coast. the laundry has a nice mix of modern and rustic features
We were really pleased with the house. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and had the amenities we required. We were a family of eight adults and two babies, and it had ample space and facilities for us. Access would be an issue I think for mobility problems or difficulties with stairs, even with the stairlifts. And there is limited parking. It was easy walking distance to the town although the road is busy and narrow. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Spent a wonderful holiday in the beautiful countryside! Nothing is left to be desired! We hope to return!
Unbeatable vistas from comfortable large apartment. Never ending displays of sea, mountains and wildlife. Could of spent a week just looking out the Windows.
If you're looking for total rest and relaxation, Gamekeeper's cottage is the perfect break. Set in beautiful countryside and away from the hustle and bustle of the suburbs, it is a place where you really can switch off. Close enough to Bangor and the beautiful island of Anglesey with its stunning beaches (Newborough our favourite), you still feel connected to the outside world and have plenty of choice for eating and days out. Definitely try the Vaynol Arms - excellent food and great service- and the Hydeout in Menai Bridge - fantastic. This was the perfect getaway for our family of teenag...more
the house is lovely and modern, the bathroom is huge but I would prefer a bath as well as a shower, the underfloor heating was great in the bathroom and lovely toiletries to use. The bedroom is huge with a very large bed and lovely bedding. The kitchen is very small but useable, no washing machine but dish washer. No internet, which in this day and age I find odd, I thought it was advertised as having internet. We had a problem with the hot tub we tried to use it on the sat but it was showing 44 degree and was unable to even get in it as to hot, we rang the owners (one number no one answ...more
This is a fantastic house and we have had 2 wonderful weeks enjoying the sunsets from the garden. The space in the house is divided well for families, lots of different areas for adults and children to relax. The bedrooms all have a lovely view, no one felt they drew the short straw. It was also fab to have so many bathrooms.
We had a beautiful stay with our whole family including our grandparents and dogs, wonderful walks around and fresh crabs from Church Bay. The cottage is perfect decorated - with a great sense for colors and furnitures.
Stayed for 8 days ,four adults ample room nice kitchen.very clean. Enjoyed by all. bedrooms and toilets spotlessly clean. Good value I
Lovely location and excellent for water sports! Comfortable house with plenty of room for 14 people. Would love to stay here again! Just make sure you take note of high tide times!!!!
Roof was leaking in dining room so was greeted by a wet wall on arrival.apart from that ok lovely views out the window of the harbour . A couple of restaurants near by where they have an extractor fan of the restaurant by the house which can be noisy especially the weekends
This cottage is truly wonderfull. The location is absolutely amazing and the cottage itself is beautifull and fantastically equipped. We had an absolutely amazing week here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Landau, The Coachhouse, and found Lyn and Rob, and their son Mark, to be friendly and helpful hosts. Lyn was there to greet us on arrival and guide us in to the fairly remote, but scenic location. Lyn had even baked us a delicious sponge to welcome us! On our final night, during dinner in the local pub, Rob even sang for us! Although the website indicated the Internet was available, this was not the case during our week's stay. This was no doubt beyond their control, and their son Mark was more than happy to allow us to use the wi-fi at his pub, The Bee ...more
had a great holiday lovely little cottage in a wonderful location. we did have a problem with the water heater but just went over the road to the office and ben came and fixed it . he was a star. and we had with no problem with parking out side the cottage Conwy its self is a really interesting place lots to do and a lot of the places are dog friendly we will certainly come back again soon.
The Apartment was very nice, cosy an clean. The fridge was full of delicious things for an original welsh breakfast. The furnitures were new and the kitchen was also well equipped. It was very near to the city centre and the promenade as well as the most of sights in town. It was a pleasant stay for our family.
Nice relaxing week . Children loved the pool table Rooms nice and big for large family group . A little out the way up very narrow lanes but nothing that spoilt the holiday.
We stayed at the Stables with all the family to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need for a great weekend. We were there with my four month old granddaughter and we asked for the heating to stay on and this was done with no bother. We were recommended the Oyster Catcher Restaurant by the owner and we spent a lovely evening there. Cottage excellent value for money and we intend to return
The stay at the house was good, nice big house and well catered for all the family. The house however does need a bit of tlc, the house itself would definitely have been luxurious when new but it does now need a bit of love as it's not as "looked after" on first impressions when you drive up and compare it to the other houses nearby. As feedback it would've been helpful for a list of available items in the house to be included when the booking confirmation was sent through as there was a number of things that we took that we didn't need as it was already provided. I rang the office and was tol...more
We visited Hunters Lodge for a weekend in October 2016. We were the only visitors so was very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed. An excellent Base to explore the delights of Anglesey.
